My time as a student at Maharishi International University was a wonderful period of expansion and growth of knowledge. Friendships formed then have lasted a lifetime. The integration of Transcendental Meditation and the Science of Creative Intelligence principals with all of the academic disciplines enabled a deeper understanding of all of the course material. As alumni, my wife and I also supported our daughters attendance and graduation from MIU, which is the greatest recommendation a parent can make.

I am impressed with the high level of academic commitment from the faculty and the equally strong committment by MIU to healthy lifestyle and life/work balance - a unique pairing in today's acadrmic environment. It has been a model of sustainability that has supported me and given me an extra edge through a subsequent graduate degree, professional career and ongoing family life.

I live on campus at this point in my life and feel like it's the most positive, evolutionary place to be in the US. I feel very honored to be able to participate in the program at the Golden Dome. I received my Masters Degree from MIU many years ago and it set up my life to be the most rewarding and fulfilling it could possibly be.

No other place like it. My first year at MIU reignited my love of learning, and transformed me from a lackluster high school student to a focused, accomplished college student. My degree at MIU was the springboard for graduate work at UCLA and a successful business career.

Having previously attended several other universities (University of Colorado, University of Miami, Miami Dade Community College, Florida International University) I was looking for a deeper level of education/ knowledge than just memorizing some facts and figures to pass tests and graduate. MIU offered consciousness based experiential learning along with a more integrated intellectual understanding of each field I studied. Their use of Unified Field Charts illustrated how more applied levels of knowledge were connected to the underlying theoretical levels. I would recommend that all college or graduate level students consider spending at least one semester at MIU to experience first hand whether what’s being presented as ‘self knowledge’ is really true or not.

As an alum from the 70s, I know, a dinosaur, I never cared for MUM logo. Did this come from Maharishi? I would never criticize the man. He was one great marketer. Regardless, the old name sits well with me. Back to my rocking chair.

I had a fantastic experience at MIU. The connections with people -- both friends and faculty -- are really amazing. I learned so much in the classroom and from the deep conversations we'd have over lunch, in the dorms, and outside class. I feel like my time at MIU as an undergrad and grad student set me up for a really positive, fufilling life after college. My wife and I have two little girls now, and I hope they'll attend MIU someday!
