Really loved Nathan and Molly!! I was very confused on why the other family was there? The trip was well worth doing it but also didn’t have much gluten free options for food.

Hi Katie, thank you for your review of Mission Discovery! We're so glad to hear that you enjoyed Nathan and Molly as our team leaders. They were honored to be a part of your experience. I'm sorry to hear that you were confused by the other family being there - We love it when families have the desire to serve and always have a conversation with group leaders to make sure there are no issues with them joining on the trip. Your group leader approved the addition of the family before your trip, but may not have let you know. As for food options, we definitely understand how important it is to have gluten-free choices and tried to accommodate those as best as we could. I apologize if there were any areas where we fell short and would love to discuss this further with you. Please feel free to reach out to [email protected] anytime. Again, thank you for your feedback and we hope to see you on another one of our trips soon!

I liked the schedual and how it was set up. I also liked the place we stayed at and the bus drivers that you hired. I loved doing the God sightings every day, it made me look at what God is doing in each and every day. What I didn't love, and this might just be a little poor planning, was that on our day off at Old San Juan, we weren't told where we would be able to find any little shops or little touristy carts. Therefore we weren't able to get any suvineers. Other than that it was a great expirience.

Thank you for your kind words about your Mission Discovery trip, Callie. I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed the schedule and the locations we visited. Our bus drivers are a great asset to our team and I'm glad you had a good experience with them. Thank you also for sharing your God sightings, they are always a blessing! I apologize that we were not able to provide more information about Old San Juan on your day off. Thank you for bringing this to our attention, it will help us be better prepared in the future. We're glad you enjoyed the majority of your trip and hope that you'll consider joining us again soon!

I came into the week a bit worried to be away for so long, and so far away from home, but I ended up really enjoying my time there in West Virginia, and I would definitely go again. Helping out the comunity was a great experience and we got to do plenty of fun activities along the way!

I had a fantastic week serving with Mission Discovery in Bluefield, WV. Nathan and Molly were fantastic! Everything was so well organized and we had everything we needed. Our accommodations were great. Worship and large group at night was a highlight. As a volunteer youth leader, I will be looking forward to bringing students on more Mission Discovery trips in the future.
