Excellent coordination of teams and…
Excellent coordination of teams and projects. The contractors overseeing the projects gave excellent direction, but also allowed our students to be very hands-on with the work they were doing. The food was absolutely wonderful and so was the worship! The only thing I would recommend would be to structure a little more time to allow participants and students to schedule their devotion during the day.

Thank you so much for your positive feedback! We're thrilled to hear that you had a great experience with our team and projects. Your suggestion about scheduling more time for devotion is valuable, and we'll definitely consider it for future trips. We look forward to serving you again! 🌟

Staying in the same community being…
Staying in the same community being served was wonderful. Having residents come out and thank the mission worker's even if they weren't directly impacted by work really had an impact!

Mission Discovery is a great organization!
My church and I went to Guatemala and partnered with Mission Discovery. What an amazing organization, everything from out reach, faculty, facilities and the connection you build while on the mission trips is so inspiring and transformative. I love mission discovery and I cannot wait to go on another mission trip with them again.

Daytona Florida Mission Trip
The leaders and their organization of the job sites made things run smooth. We were well prepped before going in to each house and were given easy methods communicating what was needed as the project progressed. They were not only concerned with helping and caring for the people they are serving, but so generous to those serving as well. I appreciated that safety was a top priority and that there was a debrief at the end of each day that helped everyone get on the same page. Our days were also followed by a service that allowed us to share how we saw God that day, followed by worship and a message from the organizers. This was an amazing way to end the day and keep us focused on our purpose after some hot, tiring days.

Being able to help out in the US
Being able to help out in the US, we need to working abroad, but there are plenty of folks in the US that need help too. I like the flexibility we had, and the ability to move around a bit to fit the needs of our team, not as rigid as other trips I have been on.
Response from Mission DiscoverySep 12, 2023
Thanks for sharing your feedback! We appreciate your perspective. Our mission trips offer flexibility to cater to various needs, whether it's at home or abroad. Your willingness to help both locally and internationally is admirable, and we're here to support your journey wherever it takes you.

Serving others is amazing!
Josh was a fantastic PC! I loved his energy. His personal testimony was endearing. It was wonderful to help and serve others. I saw God in each of their smiles, their tears at the progress and work being done on their home, the laughter as we all were goofy and had fun at the same time we worked. The youth were incredible, hard workers, so loving, asked to pray for those we served. It was such a humbling yet exhilarating week!! (I think the only thing I would suggest is possibly another lunch choice along with the PBJ...maybe lunchmeat sammies a couple of days!?) Awesome week!

My experience was great because I was given the opportunity to grow in the Lord.
My experience was great because I was given opportunities to grow in the Lord. Josh was very devoted to us and took his time to work with us. We were given many opportunities to do work and be a leader for the younger kids as well.
