I loved the structure of the week, the individual time to spend with God, the fellowship with other churches and the time spent working to help others. We loved the attentiveness of the Mission discovery staff and how they got us needed supplies or more water. There were lots of different levels of work which made it easier for our kids to join in. It was an awesome week!

Our team had an amazing week serving Nashville & Smyrna with Mission Discovery! We enjoyed all the different work sites, learning new skills and meeting new people. I loved the acoustic worship we had during every evening service. I also really liked that we had a time to share God sightings each day. This was truly an amazing experience for our entire team. I think the only thing I wish were a little different is that our entire team would have the opportunity to serve together or at least in larger groups for more bonding time together as a youth group. There were some larger groups but also groups of 2 or 3 serving all day together, which meant some of our students did not serve with others from our church. But overall everything was awesome and we would definitely choose to serve with Mission discovery again!

I loved this missions trip! I not only met so many new friends but also got to be the hands and feet of Jesus. I loved serving and getting to meet the people we were serving for. I will definitely be going on another mission trip when the opportunity arises!

Mission Discovery not only provided a great variety of service opportunities but they also ensured that we were continuing to walk with God throughout the week. My favorite part of each day was sharing and hearing God sightings. I also loved the small and sentimental worship sessions. Overall, everyone on staff worked to ensure that each student had a great experience and grew in their faith. I so am thankful for the week and can’t wait until I can serve through Mission Discovery again.

This was my very first mission trip and I have got to say it exceeded my expectations with organization. I learned a lot this past week with everything and everyone I came in contact with. I will definitely be back on another mission trip soon.

I really appreciated the effort that was put in on organizing projects that truly made our students feel like they were making a difference in someone's life. Every person that attended with our church learned a new skill and was challenged not only physically, but spiritually. I truly believe we all came back with a new mindset to have open eyes, ears and hearts to notice God's people in need.

Our experience with Mission Discovery was incredible! They are so helpful every step of the way with fundraiser ideas, packing tips, and constant communication from an awesome team! Our accommodations were excellent and the food was delicious as always. But most importantly, they connected us to Jesus, kept us safe, worked us hard, and changed our lives and those we served with. We'll see them again soon!
