I ordered the big pot which costs $179. Followed all instructions carefully and the pot leaks. Haven't been able to cook ANYTHING in this pot. Useless item! I contacted Miriam, she gave me some tips which I also followed carefully, but still nothing worked. I sent her another email to let her know that none of the tips/tricks or instructions are working on this expensive pot, she simply never responded. Now I'm stuck with a useless expensive pot. Not sure where are all these positive reviews coming from, but perhaps I had received a faulty pot that should've been replaced, but that never happened. Buy at your own risk!

Review Content: What after 50 years of cooking and now I find the best way to cook! 20 years to go with Miriams cookware for the rest of my days because the food tastes twice as good. What happened is I bought this pot to cook meat in it and was told to season it first by cooking rice, lentils, quinoa etc first before cooking the meat so I did and was not even really planning on eating the rice I cooked and then looked at it and thought that looks better than ever and tasted it and wow give me a break it was the best rice I have ever cooked but how to take credit for adding water to rice and setting to oven temperature. So now this pot is not for meat it is for vegetables and everything else including meat. BTW I did cook the meat and just like the other foods I cooked in this pot turned out more real somehow I could taste more tastes and different tastes. I cannot explain it in words but the food is somehow more real and pasta is now something not to just eat but savor each bite. If you do not have one of these pots you have to get one for the excitement of spending time in the kitchen. Out of 25 different cooking devices in my kitchen that are all top of the line this pot is now #1 without any hesitation I will say. So happy my other chemically infused ceramic pot cracked so I made this fantastic discovery. I hope you are as happy as I am with the beauty of the pot also you will not want to put it away but rather keep it in site day dreaming of your next meal you are going to get to enjoy.

The quality of the cookware is excellent and the food definitely tastes better than cooking with stainless steel. I did not realize that chemicals leech from the steel, so cooking with an all natural product is the best way to go. It is also great that the cookware is MADE in the USA. You know your a getting a well-made product and helping Miriam provide good jobs in her area.

Love the MEC sprouting pot. Have NEVER had sprouts as fast and without fuss and I need lots of sprouts to feed chickens. It also makes me happy to know that extra TLC will go into the sprouts thanks to Miriam's clay. I've also been astonished by the way the MECs have kept citrus fresh. Wasn't prepared for that. Love using my pots! The food tastes awesome just like they say it's going to. It does absolutely require a learning curve, including low temperatures and putting oil in at the end of cooking instead of the beginning. Great customer service, I've been really happy with everything so far.

I love my MEC! The care that has gone into crafting these beautiful pots is evident right away. The food cooked in it tastes amazing - more nourishing. I also love the way this pot looks. It's very beautiful sitting on my stove. I am so grateful for this amazing company!

It is a good experience to cook with Miriam earthen cookware with my daughter every time! My daughter love the pot .she said:it is so cool and interesting.I bought two pots .one is for cooking rice .it is smells much better and taste better than before i used metal cookware! And i can enjoy the cooking time as well much more than before! And i met the owner before who is so kind and nice .
