It's free, and for that it's good. The dashboard is easy to use, you can make two servers, which is more than enough for most people. I can even understand the server hibernating when nobody is online, to save resources - and it's easy to restart. BUT the lag is horrible, so much rubberbanding makes it unplayable at times, and the login servers/worlds have gone down several times in the last week or two. For a group of friends who have been playing on here a short while, it's really not been the best experience in terms of gameplay. And I can't even pull the world files to rehost elsewhere, because the upload service used fails constantly.

You have on your page that youre better than Aternos, you give people who dont pay 10 plugins. You dont let us choose the minecraft version we want our server to be. And the servers get extremely laggy with more than 2 people at a time. 2/5 would rather not use again, but will if need be

Been playing a server on here with a friend for about 2 weeks. It was working amazingly until yesterday when it reset the entire server. I know it's just a game, but we spent, like, a bad amount of time building a little village, and it's all gone now. Kinda frustrating

Please, fix your server time out problems. I was writing a book on my Minecraft server, making an entire diary (story-driven for my friends). The server then timed out, and I lost 10 PAGES of writing!!! This is unacceptable. almost an hour of progress and typing was lost. This has been so frustrating. I'm at the point of considering to leave Minehut and look elsewhere...

They're ok... But they could be better! They have been hacked at least 3-5 times this past year, they should really take their users personal information safely. I'm glad I have moved on from them.

This was a fairly good hosting service a few months ago because its free, it is very easy to add new plugins, and getting new players is also quite easy because of their multi-server hub + random join features. However now that it has received an influx of players they simply were not at all prepared for, and are at this point just trying to salvage whatever they can after multiple host-wide data losses where all minehut servers were completely reset to a default world along with all your files. For the past month or so due to so many new users and minehut servers not being able to handle all the requests, anytime somebody joins or leaves your server everything will freeze for a good 6-10 seconds. Also due to there being no way to make it so your server doesn't go offline if nobody is on for 2 minutes even if you use one of their paid plans, then trying to use this service for any professional server is nearly impossible. The only basis I would recommend this service under is if you are new to running a server and want a very simple and easy to use service, and get some experience with running and managing a server before moving on to a new service once you feel competent enough. Definitely don't spend your money here though, as even getting an upgraded RAM plan does little to improve the lag, downtime, and random server crashes. Maybe take a look back here in a few months because by then minehut might've gotten its act together, but until then I would definitely not recommend this hosting service.

You get no IP to connect to, must use /server (NAME). Support takes ages to reply. There are better, lag-less hosts to do this. No need for another one.
