Started off as a great hosting service, now everything is a cash grab scam, they are holding my bloody server hostage so I can't even switch, to download multiple files (not even folders) you need premium, and so I have to download EVERYTHING 1 by 1, the servers now have time limits (I assume 5 hours) and the connection is ... it's there

Heb er eerder nog nooit problemen mee gehad, maar de laatste tijd zijn er erg veel slechte updates en is de server kwaliteit erg omlaag gegaan. Het eerste probleem zijn de authentication issues, ondanks dat ik mijn server external host en naar minehut tunnel via het 'external server' plan maakt de server nog altijd gebruik van minehut authentication, die zeer slecht is. Spelers worden soms eraf gegooid en kunnen niet meer joinen. Het tweede probleem is de nieuwe ranks update. Ranks waren ooit een goede manier om te adverteren, maar nu ze veel duurder zijn geworden en maandelijks zijn, is het als kleinere server niet meer mogelijk om er gebruik van te maken. Het derde probleem is dat er niets wordt gedaan aan spelbrekers. Servers die de regels al maanden schenden (botting vooral) worden, ondanks dat er bewijs is, niet verbannen. Dit is ook slecht voor mensen die de server het liefst eerlijk proberen te laten groeien.

As an individual who purchased a rank with Minehut, I feel disappointed that the abilities of the rank have been changed without my input. I believe that these changes were made under a lawful agreement, but I am still frustrated that the unlimited Chat Ads feature has been replaced with a monthly limit. I am aware that companies have the right to modify their policies and products, but I feel that I should have had a say in these changes as a paying customer. If I believe that these changes are in breach of the agreement or terms of service that were in place at the time of my rank purchase, I may consider reaching out to Minehut's support team or legal department to voice my concerns and explore potential options. Depending on the terms of service or agreement, I may be able to receive a refund or compensation for the changes made to the rank system. It's important for me to review these agreements and seek professional advice before taking any legal action.

Minehut is a good server host for two players on a small world, however if there are any more on then after a month or so of playing it will start to slow down significantly, especially if some players are in the nether or the end. My server has also been hacked and griefed by another player who somehow found a way to get in while not being on the whitelist

Minehut is a great resource if you want the world to see your server (public,) HOWERVER if you want to have a privet server, you might consider looking elsewhere.

So i have been using minehut now for over a year now paying for one of their MH35 servers for the past several months. I have had no issues up until the last couple of months. I tried to change my server over to a Fabric 1.18.2 from a paper server so I could utilise more mods. I followed all of the steps and made backups etc. Once i joined my server i checked I was OP etc and everything seemed fine, however I could not use any of the games basic commands such as /Gamemode set or /Time set. It simply stated i did not have permission or that it was an unknown command I tried seeking help on their discord server, the guys over there whom are not endorsed by minehut were brilliant, even joining my server to try and help me with the issue however they were unable to do so despite trying everything we could think of. So i opened a support card with minehut, i clearly outlined what the issue was and what I had already tried to do to resolve this, i.e. uninstalling all mods and plugins, op myself again etc. My response from minehut completely ignored my email, they simple told me how to use the control panel and to op myself, so i told them Id already tried this, next they told me to try the discord server. I dont believe they even had the decency to properly read my email. Anyway after several emails I gave up and converted back to paper so I could use the server, I then got told they would send an engineer to my server to try and fix this, this was in the early hours of the morning and I had work early and was already asleep. Before I could even convert my server back to fabric they sent me an email saying the engineers could use the commands (ON A PAPER SERVER) and hence the issue was resolved and closed the support ticket. This is by far the worst customer service experience i have received, i have since left minehut and will be taking my money and time elsewhere. Absolutely disgusting from minehut and the fact they havent bothered to respond to my further emails is disgraceful. Please avoid Minehut if you are a serious player and want a decent server.
