I press start on the server and it says starting and it just says offline a couple seconds later. DO NOT RECOMMEND JUST USE APEX MINECRAFT HOSTING

Ok, I've written a review last summer, I'm updating this because I've had a lot of changed opinions and stuff like that. So, here it is I guess. Minehut has been acting super sketchy recently. Whenever you can't start your server, all of the lobbies are muted. Most of the servers are closed, except for the paid ones, which leads me to believe that Minehut purposely closes it's servers that are free while keeping the servers that are paid. It's like they don't want people spreading information about how Minehut is doing this. It's honestly very annoying. Minehut is always doing this kinda stuff. Whenever they have a big live stream or video premier on Youtube, you can expect your server to be shut down to which you will be sent into a lobby with Minehut staff spamming advertisements to watch their crap livestreams. All of that aside, about eight months later there is still performance issues, heck they probably got worse. I have no idea why I'm still even using it with my friend at this point, we're probably going to look for another server platform that is worth the price, and you should too.

I'm sorry to hear that you are unhappy with our service. Unfortunately, we have had some issues where we needed to stop server startups, but this includes all servers, in order to run maintenance. All online services require maintenance at some point, but I can understand your frustrations. Thank you for your feedback, we are always working to improve our service.

Within the past few days, servers have been reset, minehut has had hours of downtime, and other general issues. Along with that, minehut seems to only care about continuing to grow, pushing servers to the max - causing lag, rubberbanding, etc. Just a horrible service, if your planning on using a server host this is NOT the one for you.

We are sorry that you have had a bad experience with our servers. We had an overload on our save files last week where we did lose some data. We have been working on making sure this never happens again. Our team has been trying to restore lost data. if you haven't done so already please submit a support ticket to see if we can help.

Server is absolutely terrible, very bad lag, COMPLETELY RESET ALL SERVER DATA, and the staff are unhelpful, and unwilling to make changes.

I'm so sorry that this has happened. Last night we had an issue with our file servers, where our servers are saved, becoming overloaded. Unfortunately, this means if your server was online at the time it was not able to shut down properly. We are reviewing the redundancies we have in place to make sure that we don't have data loss again in the future. We understand how important it is and we're sorry that you have lost any of the hard work you've put into your server.

i made a server a while back with some friends to hang out, and we got a ton of progress. i had 3 elytras and 3 sets of full netherite armor. all seemed well and we had tons of buildings and gear, then minehut decides to corrupt the world file last night and completely reset the world. now we're all back to square one, with nothing. not the mention the fact that if the server is open for like 1 hour, it starts getting extremely laggy. then sometimes my server wouldnt even start. if youre new to making minecraft servers, dont make the mistake of using minehut
