In their Discord server, I stated a point and somebody then begun being rude and toxic so I just simply said "Didn't ask" And then left to avoid making drama. Staff were there the whole time so they know what happened, but then I was muted for 3 hours and they weren't punished at all, so I made a support ticket, they ignored the ticket and all they basically said was "Don't make anymore tickets or be banned from making more." So, great... This is replying to Minehuts response. I've found that out now, but still I was muted for 3 hours for doing the staff's job and avoiding an argument, yet my mute reason was "Instigating an argument", I then contacted support, without anything they basically just said no.

The server keeps resetting and backups don't work properly either. The support has also not taken care of the tickets for days. Definitely not a recommendation.

Seems like they don't know what a backup is. Just building casual and the server went offline two times. The world was rested to an earlier stage and none of the newer backups worked. 7 Hours of work is gone… I wrote the support, but they are just ignoring my messages. If you feel like not loosing hours of progress and don't feel like having a support which is just ignoring the problems they have, then you maybe don't want minehut as your server hoster.

The server has been reseted and all my changes in the last 5 hours were reseted the second time!

it made me sign up saying that the server is free and i'll get 20 GBs of storage, low ping, free backups. Instead I got 1 GB of storage and the rest costs. BS service

This is one of the worst servers I've been. First of all, the website is the glitchiest and slowest website I have ever seen. It takes up to a minute to load the page itself on a good computer. Plus, most of the features are broken and do not even work. For example, if I want to delete a world and do so, the world stays the same. The fact that it is impossible to upload maps and install plugins is unbearable. Second, the moderators. Anything that might seem like the slightest thing is so dramatic for them that you will get banned for a whole week without any further explaination. I got muted for 100 years [yes, 100 years] for saying "[other server hosting platform] is better" relative to someone not being able to install mods in Minehut. I was also talking to a bunch of people and said "Imagine not using /ad when advertising" (/ad is a command you need to use when advertising) and got muted for 24 hours. I then submitted a ticket and I got an unban. However, they said that if I do it again they won't do anything, but however, I didn't do anything! Not to mention that in the forums, if you post a topic in an incorrect category, you will get a warning that lasts forever. Third is the treatment. Once you join the game there are tons of ads currently being spammed about other servers. It's incredibly annoying once you try to talk to others while private chat. Also, there are ranks you are able to buy (which by the way are very expensive, but I understand) and they give you a completely white chat color. Those who do not have a rank have this almost undistinguishable gray chat color that cannot be seen. If you're trying to talk to someone, be ready to witness the massive wave of advertisements that make your message disappear in a fraction of a second. Also, with the private message thing I mentioned earlier, if you get muted on Minehut, you are not able to private message ANYONE, leaving the whole purpose of talking to friends useless. Thank god there was someone in the Minehut Discord who unbanned me. Speaking about the Minehut Discord, people who are there treat new members badly, and the community is dead. There are almost no conversations in the Discord.

It was okay for awhile. The server worked great, we could use commands and everything and it overall was good. But i got banned today. Contacted for help, and they IP banned me, even if i did absolutely nothing wrong. Even said that even if i was not at fault for it, could not unban me because they can’t unban individual people. Now i’m trying to download my world and it won’t even log onto their website. I honestly wouldn’t recommend this website.

Absolute garbage. The quality itself is just terrible and they force you to pay money even though you can just download a server for free.
