Well MineAcademy seems to be a good Place to start learning java and minecraft plugins, but actually its the worst spot. its expensive and the teacher ( Matej ) only teaches his stupid foundation system, not how to do it in the native versions of spigot which is completly useless because he is always talking about being self reliant but then we rely on him with his foundation. really cant recommend this course to anyone out there.

This is completely false because my Foundation framework is completely optional as shown in the program and we do teach native Spigot and Paper API.
I can't find you in the program. If you were a student you'd see it.

The Java course is okay, but I wouldn’t say it’s the best. Honestly, you could learn Java for free on YouTube without spending a cent. Now about Project Orion, it's a complete mess. They use their own custom API for everything. At first, it might seem like a good idea for beginners, but it’s not. The problem is that you end up learning how to use their system instead of the basic Paper or Spigot APIs. When you want to create something with more flexibility or advanced options, you’re stuck relying on what their foundation provides. And if it doesn’t have what you need, you have no idea how to implement it yourself because you didn’t learn the basics. For me, it’s a big no.

The custom API you talk about is completely optional, we have a video for Paper API and then separate for our system: https://i.imgur.com/gzY5cKS.png
Most online courses have terrible completion rates. I have developed the Foundation system to help people learn and complete the program more easily.
After completing the course you will have an general understanding of Bukkit, Spigot, Paper or even Purpur APIs because the knowledge is universal.
As explained in my other response to the below review, you can decide if you want to use our framework or not, that is completely optional. I do not force anyone to code for a specific platform.
Also I disagree that teaching using a specialized system is making the course a mess, if anything it's less of a mess than using the severely outdated (the base is from 2011) Bukkit API on which Spigot and Paper builds with Paper developers talking about a hard fork for years, but failing to do so.
We have fixed these inconsistencies. And most students who engage with Project Orion had a positive experience; at the end, it will be completely up to you which API you prefer because you will learn coding principles in general, so you understand all of them. We even have a lesson on how to make your own API.
