My partner and I really liked the counselor we were paired with, but MindEngage’s client coordination is terrible. We never received an introductory email, but a text from a Tim Murphy. Tim apparently coordinates all the sessions, but is generally unresponsive and super hard to contact to schedule a follow up. This is the second review I’ve seen criticizing Tim’s and MindEngage’s professionalism. We exhausted every means of contact and waited until 20 minutes past the time for our supposed second session to no avail. We were very unhappy with this experience and quite frankly disappointed that people who need mental health support are treated in such a disrespectful way.

Be aware that the sessions are usually about 45. Minutes almost never a full 60. Me and my partner has been going for about a month and it feels like we are just venting more then actually getting help maybe in 2 or more months I might revise this rating.

Absolutely great service. The counselors are very engaging and the one on one sessions in the comfort of your home make this the ideal service for your mental health.

While it seemed to start out like a wonderful service, I can’t say I’ve been pleased with how it’s gone. My daughter had two appointments with a therapist she could barely understand, with a lot of technical difficulties and background noise distraction. When I requested changing the therapist, my emails bounced back undelivered. I’ve called the phone number multiple times and it defaults to a voicemail message that then disconnects the call with no way to leave a message. The only form of communication remains through text message, and while moderately responsive, I have yet to see an answer to my request about rescheduling with a new therapist, in over a week. When identifying a counseling service I can trust my teen to want to participate with, thus far, this experience has left us lacking.
