I went to Mimi's to buy gift cards on Christmas Eve. Almost everyone offers a bonus when purchasing gift cards during Christmas. AppleBee's across the driveway offered such a bonus. I was ignored by the first person, the second person said he had to ask his manager, and the manager just said no. I drove across town to Black Bear Diner and they happily server me. They had lots of people waiting outside, yet I was able to go up to the counter and purchase $250 worth of gift cards and I received an additional $5 for every $25 dollars I bought. I complained to Mimi's directly and nothing.

The cakes and drinks were great and was very clean. However, the wallpaper was not age appropriate for children in general. Apart from that the service was good and so were the toilets

The experience was different than all of my many visits in FL. I’d grown accustom to getting a variety of bread choices. These days I really don’t eat a lot of bread but was truly disappointed to find that customers are now limited to rolls and not a slice of the loaf bread. Ok I’m in CA now so maybe that’s it...so very disappointing to know that I’d have to purchase an entire loaf just to get a slice. May not be a deal breaker but I won’t visit at least for a while. The meal was not as enjoyable as it had been before due to this change in service. My OPINION.

Great food. Service was ok. I like their French onion soup. Good place for breakfast.
