Milford PublishersReviews of milfordpublishers.com

Stay away from this publishers. They are fraud and liars. I HAD VERY BAD EXPERIENCE WITH THEM.promise a charge then when you start they ask more and more money every week.Did not finish my book stuck me for more money.Book not done charged 2 times .Betrayed me.

I strongly advise against using Milford Publishers. I paid a total of $3,000 for publishing services. After ongoing delays and failures to deliver what was promised, I am now attempting to recover $1,000 from that amount due to nonperformance and breach of agreement. Key issues: A website promised as part of the package was never completed No release schedule was provided for the nine (9) books submitted under contract It took over three months to publish only two books, and those books were not part of the nine covered under the agreement Editing and formatting did not follow the guidelines I approved, including: Chapters not starting on new pages as instructed Removal of approved stylistic elements Alteration of my intentional slang and creative voice without consent When I formally requested a refund and contract termination due to these failures, the project manager asked me to give the company “another chance.” After I declined and contacted their general and marketing emails, my emails were blocked, and they refused to communicate by phone. Blocking a paying client rather than resolving legitimate concerns is unprofessional and unacceptable. Based on my experience, this company: Fails to deliver promised services Delays projects for months Requests additional money without completing prior obligations Cuts off communication when held accountable I am currently pursuing this matter through consumer protection and dispute resolution channels. I strongly recommend that authors research carefully and proceed with extreme caution before engaging with this company.

Milford Publishers simply could not get their act together in editing, formatting and publishing my book. Every time they attempt to do so they introduce new errors and variations from the original. They are not equipped to handle books that have illustrations and layers of text types and summaries etc. They come through as mediocre at best and are a bunch of incompetent individuals who do not understand professional publishing.

Milford Publishing Stay away for this Publisher they are a complete fraud. They are very nice and polite upfront to get you to join them. They will tell you have the best book. Jacob Smith will try and get you signed up for $399. Then Chris Jordan will try and get you to Cash app $389 for copyright, ISBN, and LCCN. Which doesn't cost that much. You will clearly recognize him because his English is bad. Jacob will then call and tell you he has this great marketing deal but you must act now for $400. William Wilson is supposed to review and edit your Manuscript He want even read or do anything to your Manuscript. He will send you an email back saying review edited Manuscript. And nothing will have been done. I noticed the red flags and refused to continue after sending $800 dollars. This is how they treated a veteran by scamming with deception. Now they want even answer the phone.

Please avoid! My project manager could barely speak English, which meant I couldn’t understand him. After submitting my manuscript and the form for my cover design I received what was labeled “edited manuscript.” It was basically exactly what I sent to them with changes that I was aware were mistakes. In addition, They obviously didn’t read closely about what I wanted for my cover. They put in things I said I did not want. I emailed my project manager and after 7 days of no response I called to speak with a supervisor. The person who answered the phone was foreign and so was the “Senior Project Manager.” I did not have a good feeling about this place and told him so. The whole situation lacked professionalism. They did immediately refund my money, which I appreciate.

Horrendous experience! Scam Artists! Reporting them to the Authorities. Please stay away!!! PLEASE DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE. They will steal your money and not do the work. They are unprofessional, and incompetent. These reviews here are FAKE. I wish there was a 0 star.
