How can an app only support 20MB json file? Not a good experience if you want to use the trial before bying. Mileage only used for people who doesn't drive much, which makes it useless

Hi there, thanks for taking the time to leave a review, and I’m really sorry your first experience was frustrating. A bit of context that might help: The 20MB limit only applies to the old “Google Takeout” import. That uses monthly files, and for those the 20MB limit has always been more than enough. For the newer mobile Timeline import (the file saved directly on your phone) we don’t apply any file size limit at all, so large histories are supported. In many cases like this, the issue is simply that the Mobile Timeline file is imported with the “Takeout” option, which then shows the 20MB warning. Right around the time you wrote your review, we released an update that makes this distinction much clearer and should prevent this confusion in the future. We absolutely do want you to be able to properly test the app before buying it – especially if you drive a lot, because that’s exactly when mileage tracking is most useful. If you’re open to giving it another try, the recommended flow is: Export your data from Google Maps Timeline on your phone. In the app, choose the “Mobile Timeline import” option (not the Takeout import). OR Try out our brand new mobile app on Android (iOS coming soon): https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mileagewise.timelineapp If anything still doesn’t work as expected, please reach out to our support from inside the app and we’ll gladly check your file and help you through the import step-by-step. Thanks again for the feedback – it genuinely helps us improve.
