Hi Martin, Thank you for your feedback. We see that it took you around 10 days to received your new timepiece. Unfortunately there is not much we or anyone else can do if there are delays in international shipping due to the pandemic, which is why no courier services are guaranteeing delivery times right now, and we've seen delays with every service: DHL, EMS, FedEx, UPS, etc. Pre-pandemic, all of our watches were shipped for free and with delivery typically within 4 business days, no matter the location worldwide. We hope when things get back to normal worldwide, that shipping times (and prices) return to their old levels. During the pandemic, most of our watches are still being shipped internationally for free. For just a few countries, we do charge a shipping fee, and that is only for our cheapest watches. Even then the fee we charge is actually a fraction of the price we're paying to get your watch to you. (Your shipment cost for us was over $120 USD.) Unfortunately for those countries still with COVID-19 shipping restrictions, our international shipping costs have literally tripled, but we're beginning to see those restrictions being lifted one or two countries at a time. If you placed an order a couple of months from now, the odds are you likely would get free shipping on all watch orders, including our lowest priced timepieces. The vast majority of our customers currently do get free shipping on all watch orders, and we very much hope that we can soon return to that situation for all of our watch orders, but in the meantime we're doing the best we can under the circumstances.

We're very glad you received your watch quickly. We'll sadly have to forgo the 5th star though, since we don't know of any retailer who pays for an international customer's taxes and import duties in the customer's overseas country for them, be they a large retailer like Amazon, or a watch store like ours or any number of other stores. It's often not even possible to do that, depending on the shipping carrier used and other circumstances, so it's very much the norm for overseas buyers to pay their own local import duties. This is something we make very clear on our site. Even if we could do so, and were able to work out the logistics and percentages for each country we ship to, we'd have to raise the prices of our watches by the highest percentage of tax and import duties a customer would have to pay in any of the countries we ship to, since many of our watches are typically heavily discounted already. With regard to a new discount on the item you purchased, prices are not fixed and can go up or down. We strive to always have the lowest currently available retail pricing on all of the watches that we carry, (something we're well known for,) and are constantly looking at pricing elsewhere, which sometimes drives us to lower the pricing unexpectedly. Prices can go up too. For example the item you purchased has been listed after you completed your purchase for $20 more than the price you paid so you obtained a better price than if you were shopping today. We do try to take care of our customers. If for example we have a sale and a customer just bought the same watch a day before and asks us, we have in the past happily refunded the difference. We do very much appreciate your business, and believe that the price you paid was the lowest current retail pricing anywhere at the time. We also think that the watch you purchased is an extremely good value and it's one of our favorites here, so we very much hope that you like it. Please wear it in good health.

Thank you for your kind words. FYI we do inspect and test every watch before shipping, and when we noticed the cosmetic issue we indicated to you, we'd normally just send you a different watch (same model.) Unfortunately this was the last one remaining, which is why we offered you a choice of a full refund (as would be expected) or a discount after sending you some pictures, so you could decide what would work best for you. Our apologies for any inconvenience. We see that you received your new timepiece a few days ago and very much hope that you're enjoying it. Please wear it in good health.

Hi John, We checked the tracking history of this package on the USPS site at usps.com, and your watch was out for delivery to your address on the 8th July, which was only 4 days after we shipped to you. (Please also note that we also managed to send this watch out to you on the 4th July!) Per the USPS history, at 12:01pm on the 8th a notice was left for you at your address as no-one was around to sign for the package. At any time during the next 9 days, you could've contacted the post office to reschedule delivery or just turn up with the notice to pick up the watch, or pinged us and we'd have looked the package up for you to help out. We're very glad you finally have your new timepiece now and hope that you're enjoying it, but also hope you'll consider revising your review considering we shipped immediately (on the 4th!) and that the package was at your door within four days. Unfortunately no-one was there to take it.
