The security for Metamask sucks.
All my other wallets send me emails where I have to confirm a transfer. Metamask does not do that and recently I had all my funds stolen somehow from my account.
Do not use them. There are much safer wallets out there

Metamask unterstützt "ethps.top"! Da wird toller Gewinn vorgegaukelt. Nach diesen 180 Tagen Wartezeit wurde immer noch kein Gewinn ausgezahlt! Nach Kontakt mit dem "Customer-Service" wurde der "Gewinn" gecancelt und fùr das eigene Geld sollte man 20% als "Verification" einzahlen, damit man dieses (eventuell) wieder bekommt! Dabei wird man noch beschimpft, sollte man diese 20% nicht einzahlen, dass man dann eine "unhonest person" ist. Im Gesamtverlauf ist eine Chinesin auffällig, welche für "ethps.top" wirbt! Ihr Name in Social Medias ist "Acharly Annia" und diese Lady befindet sich auf Europa-Tournee, wahrscheinlich mit dem investierten Geld! Sie wirbt dermaßen penetrant, dass man tatsächlich versucht, "Geheimtipps" anzunehmen. Ich kann nur gänzlich von Metamask und "ethps.top" abzuraten! Auch Metamask gibt nach EMails keine Antwort! Alles in Scammer-Hand!
Ich habe die Antwort von Metamask gelesen und finde diese unverschämt! Nachdem von "ethps.top" der Gewinn ohnehin gekürzt wurde, sollte Metamask zumindest imstande sein, anhängliche Partner zumindest zur Rückzahlung der Einlagen zu bewegen. Oder möchte Metamask aus den ehemals glaubwürdigen Investoren mit dem "Chatbot" diese zu Bettlern zur Rückgabe der eigenen Einlagen machen? Es ist eine bodenlose Unverschämtheit!
Appell an Metamask: Zwingen Sie ihre Partner zumindest zur Rückgabe der Einlagen!
Nochmal: Der theoretische Gewinn wäre am 01.01.2023 fällig gewesen und wurde unter "moderated" gehalten, also auch nicht ausgezahlt. Nach Kontakt mit dem Service, welcher den Namen nicht verdient, wurde der Gewinn gecancelt und mit der Aufforderung versehen, 20% vom eigenen Kapital nochmal einzuzahlen, um das "Konto zu verifizieren"! Auch mit der Drohung, wenn dies nicht geschähe, dass dann das Geld an eine soziale Instution gegeben würde! Seitdem ist meine Investition ohne Gewinn als "moderated" gekennzeichnet! Keine Abbuchung möglich. Nachdem es sich um eine digitale Angelegenheit per Wallet handelt, warum soll man dann ein Konto "verifizieren"? Im Mode-Deutsch: Eine Komplett-Verarschung!

Her name on social media is "Acharly Annia" and this lady is touring Europe, probably with the money invested! It advertises so obtrusively that people actually try to accept "insider tips". I can only advise against metamask and "ethps.top"! Even Metamask doesn't respond to emails! Everything in the hands of scammers!
I read Metamask's answer and I find it rude! After "ethps.top" reduced the profit anyway, Metamask should at least be able to persuade attached partners to at least repay the deposits. Or does Metamask want to use the "chatbot" to turn the formerly credible investors into beggars for the return of their own deposits? It is bottomless insolence!
Appeal to Metamask: At least force your partners to return their deposits!
Again: The theoretical profit would have been due on January 1st, 2023 and was kept under "moderated", so it was not paid out either. After contacting the service, which doesn't deserve the name, the profit was canceled and the request was made to deposit 20% of your own capital again in order to "verify the account"! Even with the threat that if this didn't happen, the money would be given to a social institution! Since then, my non-profit investment has been marked as "moderated"! No debit possible. Since it's a digital wallet thing, why "verify" an account? In fashion German: A complete fooling!
Metamask macht nichts! Läßt die Scammer-Partner einfach weiterarbeiten! Das ist Betrug der modernen Art! Wahrscheinlich verdient Metamask auch daran . . .
Ende März 2023. Es tut sich nichts! Von einer seriösen Firma ist Metamask weiter entfernt als Alpha Centauri . . .

Flawed Recovery System.
Experience with MetaMask has been horrible. At this time I DO NOT recommend them for any Crypto activity.
As anyone who creates a Crypto account, I made sure to save my Secret Recovery Phrase (SRP) in the circumstance that I needed to restore my account. Only problem is that when entering my SRP.... my account was not restored.... I contacted Tech Support and low and behold they confirm my account exists under the SRP but unfortunately their only way to "get it back" is to create MULTIPLE accounts... This did not obviously work... Without access to this account I'm out a significant amount given their FLAWED system...
While I'm still dealing with their support team I just want to warn everyone of the risks in dealing with MetaMask. Your SRP means dick all. Even if you know your account password.

To explain the BIP39 wallet creation method (this is how MM and other EVMs create a wallet)
12 words are randomly generated from a list, called the BIP39 list, this is your SRP. It will access the same addresses, in the same order, in any EVM compatible wallet.

That sounds like a scam. MetaMask only supports EVM compatible chains. (EG: not bitcoin)

Absolute garbage service and response lack of competence
Very poor service and lack of competence. I have been with them for a while and I tried sending some etherium and they are veryfying my account for three days now with very poor response. Absolutely not recommended I'm glad I didn't put all my crypto with them absolute rubbish company. How are) they) to survive with 85percent of negative reviews and lack of improvement. As soon as they verify I'll be moving all my money. And my 2.2 million subscribers will definetly hear my story

We don't do any account verification. If were trying to purchase crypto in-app, that happens through a third party payment processor.

transactions échoués plusieurs fois mais les frais par contre ils sont encaissés sans problème (25% de perdu), j'essaye de faire un dépôt vers dydx sans succès, j'ai swappé de l'usdt vers du matic et au lieu d'aller sur le réseau matic il est toujours sur l'eth aux frais exhorbitants surtout quand on a pas de grosses sommes, je vais essayer de mettre le compte à zéro et tout virer vers le ledger.
