All I have received is a book cover, which I created and corrected several times. My complete story with pictures were sent. Merriam told me in January, the book would be published by my April birthday. Was told the whole book had been proofread. I found 4 pages of errors with several being AI. I was asked to send all errors to them, rather than access my own story and correct. The pictures and info about each were all mixed up. Have received nothing since gettimg, except a promise of 5/13/2025. I'm just wondering if they are reacting to $500 they charged to my card without permission, which I refused to pay? No working phone number when my credit card com. called. So very disappointed with this my experience. Was drawn by the beautiful web site! Considering all, I want to get my money back!!

This experience felt misleading definitely not what was advertised, fraudulent, and poorly managed.I never received a completed or edited version of the work. While I requested to get a full refund after 6 months the feedback I did receive was sparse ,delayed, & lacking greatly. However for the most part I will say they were no responsive and cost me a great deal of time and money. Communication from the project team was minimal if at all for months. Simple direction was not handled well and the entire operation I would consider fraudulent and non responsive.

The company did a good job with creating covers, though I had to have them correct errors numerous times. We paid several hundred dollars for social media promotions and I was never able to see anything on any social media platform. They sent us AI generated promos that we published on our fb and instagram accounts, but they did nothing to increase our visibility that I could not do myself. Feel we were a victim of false promises. Do not recommend.

My experience with Merriam Publishers was shockingly unprofessional and deeply disrespectful. I explained to Henry that I couldn’t talk on the phone because I’m a full-time caregiver for my mother. Rather than respecting that, he responded with personal insults and condescension. After politely asking not to be contacted again, Henry sent me a message that was not only unprofessional but outright cruel. He wrote: “And you don't have the guts to pick up the call and say you are not interested. I have dealt with a lot of freebie seekers and broke people like you, so it's nothing new.” This is not just bad customer service—it’s harassment. No one deserves to be spoken to this way, especially when setting clear boundaries. I would strongly caution anyone considering working with Merriam Publishers. A business that treats people with such blatant disrespect is not one I can support or recommend.

Merriam Publishers provided satisfactory services with timely delivery, but the editing quality was average and could use more attention.

Merriam publishers delivered decent editing and formatting, but communication was inconsistent, and cover design lacked creativity.
