Never missed a payment now they raised my interest rate and are changing me 150 a year just to have card they are a scam no annual fee they are crooks

I just got charged a $150 annual membership fee. Which other cards don’t do. I don’t think I ever got an email like they said. And show 0 concern about it. Shady company overall. And their interest has skyrocketed. Stay away!

Letter regarding changes of terms and arbitration provisions was very deceptive. I responded via letter I no longer wanted to continue business and was still charged the annual fee. Contact customer service and they claim two letters were submitted and it was not and also the date they received the letter was after the cut off time frame and refusing to waive the fee.

I've been a Mercury Visa Signature card holder since January 2021. I specifically signed up for this card because it had NO ANNUAL FEE. Today, December 7th 2026, I've had to cancel my card because I was charged an annual fee of $99.00! They even had to increase my credit limit 61 dollars to avoid an over the limit fee. My limit went from $1000.00 which it's always been, to $1061.00. Now why raise my credit limit 61 dollars unless it's to avoid an over the limit fee. Before I called to cancel, my available credit was $66.75, with a current balance of $994.25, with a $1000.00 limit, make that make sense... Of course, it's because they added a $99.00 ANNUAL FEE! Even today, if you go look at their website, for the Mercury Visa Signature Card, it still says NO ANNUAL FEE! I smell a class action coming, they already got my $99.00, before I had a chance to cancel, that's why they didn't make it obvious, hid the notification in a standard monthly bill statement, that they know 90% of people throw away because they pay online. Why didn't they notify us through e-mail, before the charges? Because they knew we would cancel before they could charge us. It's all a SCAM!

They decided to charge an annual fee. I specifically got this card because there was no annual fee. The fee is $150!!!! Unacceptable and disgusting!!!! canceling the card as I write this!!!!!!

DO NOT USE THIS CREDIT CARD. THEY FRAUDULENTLY CHARGE A $150 ANNUAL MAINTENANCE FEE!!!! SO MAD AT MYSELF FOR OPENING AN ACCOUNT WITH THEM

DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THEM. They charge surprise fees. I was charged an annual fee of $47 with no notice. Their customer service is awful and so rude.
