This program is like IXL- pointless. When writing out the words, if you make a typo it automatically submits for you, so you get it wrong. It doesn't allow you to do it yourself. And if you know too many words it flags you for knowing them, why? Why is there an option called 'I know this' if using it will get me flagged. Yes, I knew 35 out of the 50 words given, because it doesn't properly adjust to your vocabulary level. But it's also just useless, you really don't retain what you 'learn' from it. If you're going to teach your students important words, please, just actually teach them. Or read a book and point out words, it's really that easy.

Membean stole my wife.... So one skibidi day I was walking my fish and I got home and my wife was missing I looked out the window and saw the duolingo bird and he stole my wife so I went outside and fanum taxxed duolingo then I exploded. Then ksi appeared and started singing Thick of It.. Do NOT get membean they WILL fanum tax your wife 2 stars..

Alr, I've only used Membean for a day, and I can say without a doubt I already HATE it. I know education isn't supposed to be all that fun, but still. Nothing about that website is even stimulating. It's always so predictable too, which makes it even less stimulating. Plus, half of these words they're throwing at me I already know. Like, deadass, I already know what "genre" and "malice" both mean. All it really does is just word definition, spell the word, a review question, repeat with some more review questions if it feels like it. There's no variation, no nothing. It's pure torture and more bland than water.

Honestly, Membean has taught me some new words, but I'm never going to use this stuff outside of school. I understand it's an app used to teach children inside and outside of school, but I truly think that Membean should not be used in schools because it really sucks. It usually teaches you the same word over and over, makes you do these quizzes that are a waste of time (some have 100 questions!), and doesn't teach me anything useful. It wastes my time and other children's time when we could be enjoying our childhood, socializing and having fun with friends during our time off school. Instead, we have to spend like 3 hours on Membean AND all of our other homework. Please, for the love of sanity, ban Membean in the U.S.!

Somewhat glitchy/ outdated and many of the answer choices on quizzes are extremely vague or tricky, like something related to the word but isn’t it directly.

I think you guys should get rid of the timer because it stresses me out trying to find out what the answer is. Also, please get rid of the weird looking pictures. I know it's trying to show what it means, but it is kind of disturbing. Thank you!
