Don't use home delivery! The shopper couldn't find what I wanted (EVEN though i went the very next day and what i wanted was there on the bottom shelf) and only gave me 2 min to respond then got me substitutes. Cheaper substitutes but I was charge full price anyway. When I complained and asked for my money back the customer service responses was $12 in MPerks cash. I responded saying No to refund my money to my card. They refuse to respond to my email now. Their refund policy basically being told sorry about the horrible service here is money to spend back on their horrible service and then we will ignore you!

I bought my nephew a game for his birthday. Didn't know my uncle bought him the same game so I gave my nephew the game and receipt so he could get cash to buy what he wanted. HA they would not give him cash told him he had to use a store credit only, I Paid cash $70 and he could not even get the money back. I will never shop here again. Terrible this company is too big for this.

I am posting this review primarily because of the negative experience with the new "Free Pick Up" service (minimum $50 order). I have used it several times now over the last few months, but what happened yesterday and today over the phone was so disappointing that I am going to do my grocery shopping at another store. I received items from another customer's order, did not receive a couple of items that I was being charged for, and when I finally got to talk to someone on the phone, I eventually got a digital code for a coupon, but they did not even let me explain more or ask questions - they just simply hung up on me! I have tolerated long waiting times while sitting in the designated pick up parking spots, at least I could do something else while waiting. But being treated so unprofessionally and clearly being communicated to that Meijer management does not care about what their customers (and probably not about their employees, either) think, made me change my mind. You could do so, so much better, Meijer's.

Ordered online for a pickup and both the website and the online order showed the items I wanted were in stock. I made sure to click on the "no substitutions" box. Later on I drove the 32 miles to the store only to find that EVERYTHING was a substitution and nothing i actually ordered was in the bag and was not in stock at any store even though the website showed "in stock" at all of the stores. Do not waste your time with the pickup "service" as it is completely as useless as their website. I will never use this worthless pickup/online ordering malarky ever again and will tell everyone I can not to use it.

I am a senior citizen with a lot of serious health issues. I am extremely high risk for Covid. I ordered a pick up order for Meijers, Allen Park, Mi. early in the afternoon. I chose the earliest pick up time available 7-8 pm. I am very slow at placing an order (due to my health issues) and it took me a long time to place my order. I was notified at 6:12 p.m that my order was cancelled due to not enough staffing. We are expecting a snow storm starting about 1:00 AM so it will be a couple days before I can order elsewhere. I should have been notified earlier. In my opinion this is very poor and unacceptable customer service to offer a long time customer.

I have always did my grocery pickup through Walmart but decided to give Meijer a try since it was closer to my home. Big mistake! And I would use the excuse that I picked a high traffic pickup time(Fri 5-6pm) but if that's the case than Meijer should be prepared for this. I pulled up with 3 other people waiting. I watched the kid bring out 2 vehicles orders than disappeared for like 15 min or so. I called the number on the sign after I had already texted to let them know I was there. I was told there are 3 people ahead of me. Ok, first when you text to let them know you are there, you should get confirmation that they received it. Walmart does this, you check in and it confirms right away. So back to the kid. After waiting for 30-35 min a girl shows up and goes through my order and trys to explain my substitutions and couldn't pronounce the descriptions, she blamed it on her glasses. Walmart let's you know ahead of time what the substitutions are and the out of stock items. By than I just wanted my groceries and to go home. From beginning to end it was just shy of 1 hour. 45 min it took which dang I could have ran in the store and did it myself. Never again Meijer Walmart has it figured out which is why you have to reserve 2 days in advance and Meijer has all these opens spots for pickup. So disappointing Meijer, pickup is definitely not your strong suit! Avoid unless you have all the time to wait.......

Picked up my online order today. I don't know who bagged my groceries but they put heavy grapefruits on top of my buns and squashed them. The pastries were stale. Only when I got to the store was I informed 2 items were out of stock. This is a 40 minute drive 1 way for me. Called to complain only to find out the store manager is on vacation till next week. This took over 30 minutes on the phone between all the hold times and being transferred many times. Please don't waste your time, shop somewhere else! Read other reviews same problems
