I have never have felt such intrusive, lack of class, and just all around 2 faced experience when going to the grocery store....from the moment you walk in the door....if you are white with tattoos ....you got some lil squirt and his colleagues watching your every move...they are even checking out at the you scan directly next to you (as if you are just so oblivious you don't know 007 has been tailing you the entire time) all slow eye'n the amount of money in your hand trying to quickly add up everything in their head like they are gonna catch you stealing something cuz they think they have a discrepancy underway....I'm sitting here in the parking lot of Meijer writing this review cuz this all just happend...and you will never believe but it's actually happening....I got two workers (under cover) brushing off some car next to mine carrying on this b/s conversations trying to figure out just what it is I'm "up to".....the jig is up....I'm sitting here writing a spot on review of your poor conduct

I would like to say I’m VERY disappointed and also annoyed. I had a French project and I was looking for 2 things and their website said they had one of them in STOCK. This was by far not the case. I would also like to mention that we called before hand and we’re on hold for roughly 20 minutes and eventually hung up. So we then went to the store. Got stopped for about 15 minutes to sign up for a stupid rewards program which we will never use since I’m not coming back. Looked down the aisle for the drink. Didn’t have it so looked at other aisles didn’t have it! Got TWO workers to go look. And guess what they didn’t find it! Checked the back and asked one more person still no luck!!!! I spent all day looking for this drink called orangina a French drink. We had been to at least 10 stores and finally had high hopes…. That were then crushed. Will never shop here again!

Will never use their online ordering again! I went into the store to purchace a certain smell of wax melts. They did not have it on the shelf so i said thats ok, i'll just order it online and have it delivered. Online is a joke. I spent 40 min. Just trying to get a delivery date. Each time it said that time slot is not avaliable..WHAT?? There was only a choice of two days with 1 hour segments. after attempting several times I finally called Meijer, who switched me to the digital Department. She spent another 40 minutes with me to come up with the solution. they don't have any of the wax melts that I want even though they're online service says available. I hung up and ordered them from a different website no problem. As far as their sale items, they put things on sale and when you get there, they are not on the shelf. that has been going on for years. That was the reason years ago that i stopped going to meijers. you have to shop for the sale items before the sale and then go to the refund desk with your receipt once the sale starts. the items will be on the shelves a few days before the sale starts. I like the idea of one-stop-shopping, groceries and other merchandise, but Walmart offers the same thing and they have no issues when you go there. Meijer needs to update their online services, their delivery services and what's in stock actually at their store.

I placed an online pickup order on Saturday for pickup on Sunday at the crossroads of 12 Mile Rd and Mound Rd in Warren Michigan. Click checkout on Saturday so my order would have my discounts applied for that day. Picked up the order and was not notified until I got home via text that the full price was applied to my credit card with out discounts. Called store, spent 25 minutes between hold and talking to a customer care rep in online orders only to be told that if I wanted those discounts I should have picked it up the day before. Asked to talk to manager, was placed on hold only to have the same person get on the phone and tell me that the manager said that that’s their policy. I asked the woman for her name and employee number as well as her manager that wasn’t even will ing to talk to me, and she refused. Told her I needed that info because I was calling corporate in which she responded “I’m disconnecting this call” and hung up. I called back, asked for supervisor and was transferred to a woman who hung up on me when I told her I had just called. So I googled corporate, called them, they said the store handled it poorly and I was going to receive my discounts of $45. After 40 minutes between talking and hold, I was then notified that the rep I spoke with was not given authorization to give me my discounts even though the order was placed the day the sales were going on. I was only offered a $15 mperk to my account. I told her that I can get it all cheaper at full price somewhere else and that I will be returning the $160 order to the store and never shopping with meijer again. I have a special needs toddler and don’t have the flexibility to jump and go shopping or do pick ups the same day. This is bad business. I have made a complaint to the better business bureau, and was surprised to see that meijer is not even accredited by the BBB. Disappointed is an understatement. Poor customer service in this store. Will never shop at any meijer again, and will be posting this experience on every social media and review site I can find.

I went in for a walk-in flue shot and I was turned away and was told I had to make a appointment online. Well there no way to make a appointment online and Meijer pharmacy website said flue shot are walk-ins and no need for a appointment... So I tried to call them to set up a appointment just in case if the info is not updated/wrong. Well I was hung up on 2x.. Very rude and unprofessional . Needless to say i will never go back to Meijer's pharmacy. Wish i could give 0 stars or negative star review.

I would never have believed in a million years in 2021 a company this size would still have a website that is still just as useless now as it was in the early 2000s when we were all still on dial up. Their website along with their app functions exactly the same meaning nothing you type in has any results basically showing the store has nothing. It doesn't matter what you type in or how you type it in, it always says zero results found. Or it shows one or two items when you could clearly be in the store looking at what you're looking for on their app or website and it shows they have nothing while you're standing there looking at the items. I'm at a loss for words on how people are even doing online shopping with this company considering their app and their website is completely useless and is nothing more than a big advertisement since they don't actually show anything that they sell. How are people ordering anything from this company online and picking it up when it shows they don't sell anything? They refuse to hire someone to fix this garbage. It's pretty bad when a generic company like Walmart which is nothing more than the McDonald's of the department store world has a functioning website that works like anything else. Yet this company refuses to fix this nonsense that I personally remember being just as bad all the way back in 2005. It's just ridiculous. You want to look something up that you know they most likely carry or you've seen in their store and it gives you zero results over and over and over for years. It doesn't help that they've followed in Walmart's footsteps even on a busy Saturday afternoon only have two registers open with lines all the way back into the clothing department but when you can't even look something up on their website in this day and age where everything is online it just makes me not even want to deal with this company anymore. They used to be great and walked all over Walmart but now they're pretty much the same except with a useless website that irritates me to no end because I want to look up to see if they have something and it says they don't even carry anything like that whatsoever when I know that's a lie. It's because of their lazy incompetent corporate management. They refuse to get with the times and it's going to bite them in the end.

Everytime I go to this store I say I won't return. Their bathrooms are disgusting, THey dont have as good a selection as WAlmart, and when I do my shopping at 7 to 8 AM, the deli doesnt open until 9. I hate to say it but I will go to Walmart.

Meijer - pretty much a waste of time, gas, and money. Went to Meijer mid morning (Monday) with Meijer issued coupon for free V8 and a copy of their Sunday ad advertising Chex and Kellogg Mini Wheats on sale with quantity of five purchased. Results - no plain Chex on the shelves, no MiniWheats offered at flyer price, no plain V8 on the shelves. This has become far to typical for Meijers - no stock, no advertised specials, long check out lines and less than mediocre customer service. Folks, don't waste your time at Meijer, it ain't worth the time and trouble.
