teach your employees to apricate customers, told one guy on the front that i was glad they were there and all he did was grunt, no smile or thank you plus he was sloppy. maybe he should work in the back of the store and not on the front.
i got a idea fire the looser

Like the store usually zero to complain…
Like the store usually zero to complain about, but do not buy the meijer brand cat litter in the 35lb size unless you are prepared to cut the lid off or worse yet possibly cut yourself in the process like I did. The packaging is impossible to open without a razor knife. I've never had this issue until they changed the packaging. I know I'm not the only one with this issue considering I know others who have had the same problem. Meijer if your listening please look into this.

Horrible Customer Service at MEIJERS Greenfield
The worst aspect of Greenfield Wisconsin MEIJERS is its customer service, which is consistently poor. Second worst? MEIJERS computer system consistently charges the wrong price. So if you shop here, you have to be EXTREMELY careful to check how much you are charged for EACH item. And when you discover that the sale price was not correctly applied? You get to deal with their customer "service". Oh, that is so fun. I have had many problems of this sort, but I will tell only my last experience. Bought 2 large tostitos cheese dips which were marked on sale at 3.99 and about 12 other items. Went to checkout, and after paying with a credit card, checked my receipt. Sure enough, I was charged 5.49 each for the tostitos cheese dips. So still at checkout, I reported the error. The cashier told me that there was nothing she could do and since customer "service" was closed, I would have to come back the next day! I protested that it was their error, and I should no have to return to the store to have it corrected. After arguing, she finally relented and said she would go to the customer service window and allow me to "return" the item. She said she could not refund the overcharge. So I went along with that as my only option. So items returned, I am taking my groceries to the car and then it dawns on me. I went back into the store, checked the price of the tostitos cheese dip. Yep, 3.99 on sale. I took two, went to self check out, waited for the wrong price to register, and called the attendant over who promptly corrected MEIJER'S error, and left with the products I intended to prchase at 3.99 each. I rarely take time to complain about stores, but these problems have been going on for more than 5 years. Needless to say, I only go to MEIJERS on occasion now. I want to like MEIJERS. They have a nice store and a wider selection of products than Pick-yur-Nose. I also have to say that MEIJERS in Oak Creek is much nicer and doesn't have the same problems as Greenfield. Unfortunately, if I am driving all of the way to Oak Creek, I am heading for Woodmans for better pricing overall, better produce and baked goods, and the largest selection of items. But bad customer service, high prices and consistently bad systems that cause mistakes at checkout makes this store a poor choice for most.

Stay away from curbside pick up using…
Stay away from curbside pick up using the app. When they are out of something, the app does not give adequate substitutes. Oh, we don't have 4, 8 oz beef broth.. no substitute. It is not intuitive enough to say.. do you want a 32 oz of beef broth? This needs to be fixed or get a better inventory system.

There's room for improvement
I love my local Meijer in Flat Rock, MI. The greeters are kind, the cashiers are helpful, and the store is clean. But I can no longer shop on the weekends. WHY do they stock everything on Saturday and Sunday at peak shopping hours?? It is so hard to navigate around the huge pallets in every aisle alongside 100 other people. Turns my shopping experience into a full blown anxiety attack.

Meijers has continuously raises the…
Meijers has continuously raises the price of individual items within a week such as brown and serve turkey sausage has gone from1.09 to $1.39 the next week $1.59 to $1.79 -cream cheese in less than 45 days a Meijers 8oz box just went from $1.09 to $2.79 unless you buy 7 or more for $1.00 -the list goes on and on online is just as bad they’re selling jelly for the price of jam online and the same thing in the store which is sold out of most staples-I check on line before I go shopping there it still sold out-the price rates going up every week is ridiculous and shouldn’t be allowed the greed within most food supply corporations is rapidly increased and shameful the Gov. needs to address the matter asap

Trying to flag someone down for assistance with fish
My wife and I were looking at getting some live pet fish. I was tasked to wait for an employee while my wife continued shopping. She was able to get everything on the list and then some and I still had yet to get assistance with the fish. I honestly looked for the bags to get them myself. It's been over 20 minutes as the writing of this review and am still waiting.

Please bring back special food sections
A few months ago, shopping at Meijer in Muskegon and looking for the “Gluten-Free” section, we were told gluten-free items were now being put with like items. Very disappointing. It was nice to go to this section that was like a little shop within a shop.
Yesterday we shopped at a Meijer and couldn’t find Gluten-free pretzels with the other pretzels. Were they sold out? Too hard to tell, couldn’t find the product sticker where they would have been. And no one to ask. So went to Walmart and bought some Glutino pretzels.
Special Food sections are being removed? Now similar things are just thrown together.
It was so much more fun to shop when special foods were set apart to find easier.
We have always chosen to shop Meijer over stores like Walmart because we thought it had a higher quality of organization and atmosphere than other “box” stores.
Why is Meijer jumping on the “Many things to choose from, good luck finding what you’re looking for” bandwagon??
As customers, it would be good to see Meijer avoid becoming just like another worldly store-of-stuff-to-search-through.

p.s. We are surprised this is happening because the “Pets” section at Meijer has become a comfortable place to find pet needs.
