Ordered groceries online. Was supposed to be available 6 PM on Thursday. Nope. Finally 10 something a.m. on Friday said order is ready. I told them I was on my way and when I arrived …20 minute wait no groceries. Several people arrived after me and have already got their groceries, this is not the first time. They’re lucky Fred is not alive anymore because this sucks. Do not use this service, the delays mean no to sale items and service is terrible.

Four hours later and delivery still isn't here. Last time we spend a dime with this store.

I bought 7 items on the 7 for 7 ad and none of them rung up correctly. I called the clerk over for help and all she did was say I must have bought the wrong items. No way. I am very sure the items were correct and the signage was below each item.
Someone dropped the ball in IT on this one.
I will no longer trust this Meijer, and I have been shopping there for 15 years .

28th n Kalamazoo Ave Meijer SUCKs
The 28th St. and Kalamazoo Ave store is being revamped and if it weren't for the sketchy beggers outside the store, the kids RUNNING around the store begging for a dollar, and the checkout register declining My card, when I had plenty on it, IT MIGHT be a nice Meijer.....I DON'T plan on EVER going back to this Meijer!

It would be wonderful if you would actually put some cream cheese in your cheese cake.

I am a life time shopper at Meijer and today was very disturbing when I noticed they are allowing a alcohol vendor to give away free shots of alcohol I believe this can be pushing recorving alcoholics over the edge all I takes is one shot for most and promoting drinking and driving this is not right and should not be aloud

Meijer Pharmacy Treatment of ADHD Patients
I have been a loyal customer and pharmacy patient at Meijer for many years, but a recent experience has severely shaken my confidence in their pharmacy services. My experience with the Meijer pharmacy located at 1540 28th St SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49508, has been nothing short of a nightmare, particularly as a person with ADHD who relies on medication for daily functioning. I am a 32-year-old Electrical Engineer, diagnosed with ADHD in 2018. My life significantly improved after my doctor prescribed Adderall, allowing me to progress in my career from a small company to earning 60% more at a renowned firm. The medication has been crucial in helping me manage my symptoms and excel in my professional responsibilities.
Timeline of Incidents:
- April 25th, 2024: I called the pharmacy for a refill of my Adderall prescription. Initially told to call back, then informed it would be ready in an hour, only to find out later that no request was on file.
- April 26th-27th, 2024: After several calls, I was repeatedly told to call back without any clear reasons. Eventually, I was informed there was an issue with the DEA number.
- May 27th, 2024: I faced another round of confusion and insincere apologies when my prescription was once again not filled as promised.
- May 28th, 2024: Despite contacting my provider, who empathized with my situation, I was left without my medication until May 30th due to a block placed by the pharmacist.
Throughout this period, the lack of communication and the misinformation provided by the pharmacy staff were deeply distressing. As a patient reliant on medication to manage my ADHD, the mishandling of my prescription put me at risk of losing my job and severely affected my well-being.
Key Issues:
- Miscommunication and False Information: I was repeatedly given incorrect information about the status of my prescription, causing unnecessary stress and anxiety.
- Inconsistent Policies: The reasons provided for not filling my prescription varied, with no clear explanation or consistent policy.
- Lack of Empathy and Understanding: The pharmacy staff showed a blatant disregard for my condition and the impact of their actions on my health and professional life.
This experience has highlighted a severe issue in how Meijer Pharmacy treats patients with disabilities. It feels like bullying, and it is unacceptable for a large corporation to treat people with disabilities this way. There must be change to ensure no one else goes through what I did.
Call to Action:
- I urge Meijer to address these issues at their pharmacy and implement policies to ensure that no patient is given false information about their medication.
- Clear and compassionate communication is essential, especially when dealing with patients who depend on their medication for daily functioning.
- An apology from the at-fault pharmacist and the pharmacy would go a long way in restoring my faith in Meijer and would lead me to consider removing this review.
Until then, I will continue to share my experience to advocate for everyone with ADHD and fight for change.
