Excellent communication. However some things discussed with initial contact Jake are not the same when working with our Alix team. Seems there is more for us to do than we thought. We live 500 miles from where the deceased lived. Difficult for us to travel back and forth due to age, health and finances.

No one reached out for an initial phone introduction for 4 business days, at which time I called the phone numbers of both the personal specialist, and the manager and got voice mail. Later that day, I got a call back and was informed that the phone numbers on the app were not correct !! My conversation with the manager was informative enough, but he didn't seem to have answers to what I consider common questions, and said he would have to get back to me. Still looking for specific steps and timelines for the critical Letter of Testemantary. I did receive a "family tree" form to fill out electronically, but it was so NOT user-friendly I was advised to either edit it, or simply write it all out by hand and scan it ! Which begs the question, what do I need you folks for ? I give the initial experience about a C- so far. And with my personal specialist already out on vacation all of next week, I am not expecting much improvement in the short term. So far, not the attention to detail one would expect from a probate team. Starting to wonder what we are paying $9000 for.

Alix seems quite thorough and methodical in navigating the probate process, however, it also seems seriously delayed. I did not think iy would take two months to obtain a Testamentary letter.
