Mealeo upcharges menu prices on all restaurants. Do not use this service. I am not just talking about "service fees" that many delivery companies charge, this company makes up their own prices and your bill will be upwards of 20 to 40% more (at least) on menu items. For example, a pupu platter at a Chinese restaurant on their menu will be 13.95, the price on Mealeo will be almost 19 dollars, on top of their "fees." This is for both pickup and delivery via their app. DON'T DO IT.

This was the worst experience we have ever had. Our food arrived 40 minutes late, werecieved no contact from the driver. We typically use mealeo, I am thinking not any more. I reached out to them, they make it impossible to contact them to resove issues.

I had a very disappointing experience with Mealeo. We make a point to support local businesses whenever possible, which is why we chose to place our order through this platform. I placed an order at 5:29 PM, and by 7:59PM—over two and a half hours later—we still had not received our food. What was most concerning was the complete lack of communication. I reached out to customer support via message and also left a voicemail, but received no response. While my payment was processed immediately, there were no updates, explanations, or acknowledgment of the delay. Clear and timely communication is a basic expectation, especially when issues arise. I hope this is something that can be improved, as we value supporting local companies—but reliability and customer service are equally important.

I have ordered from Mealeo before as like to support a 518 company over DoorDash, Grubhub or Uber. Tonight, I ordered a meal fo 3 so was expensive. . Estimated wait was 45 min. After order was placed it changed to 2 hours. Then it arrived at the 2hrs 45 min mark. It was ice cold. Literally like it came out of the refrigerator. My only thought was the driver picked up order and went to a two hour movie and left my food in a freezing car and then delivered to me after. I reached out to their customer service and got a email message from someone named Lei. She said “these things happen”. No mention of a credit to use them again or even a partial if not full refund. I responded asking for further assistance and never heard back. It’s sad to learn how awful their customer service is. I ended up deleting the app. It’s not worth trying to support a local company when they could care less about customer satisfaction. Don’t waste your time. Use a service that will actually credit you when something arrives very late or ice cold. Very disheartening as I really liked that they were a 518/ local company
