The doctor that called my husband did not speak English very well and would not listen we ended up going to our regular doctor the next day He had a bad sinus infection

Wasted my lunch hour. The call was 45 minutes late and I was charged $55 for a doctor to tell me to just take cough medicine for a cough I have had for 4 weeks. I guess I have been taking the wrong cough medicine this entire time. Waste of money!

If I could give negative stars I would. I called in twice to mdlive about the same issue. I had and ear infection that both Drs. Said was a cold and would not give me antibiotics because they said it was a virus. She said to wait it out for 10 days even though I had a fever. I did not wait seven days I went to urgent Care and the real doctor there gave me antibiotics for my bacterial infection. These people are not doctors and don't help even if you call twice not getting better about the same issue.

I recently utilized MDLIVE because I was suffering from a UTI. The doctor called back very quickly, was polite and direct. He called in a prescription for Nitrofurantoin- 10 pills, to be taken twice per day. At the end of the 5 days of recommended dosing, I was still suffering from UTI symptoms. I made an appointment with my general practitioner who advised me that the proper dosage to clear a UTI is 10 days, which would equal 20 pills. He cautioned me that this short dosage could have lead to the infection worsening and possibly leading to a kidney infection. I will do my homework next time before I put my trust into a tele-doc.

I spoke with Dr. Rizwan Kundi. Called in due to major ear pain dismissed it as a common cold. Told him I'm prone to ear/sinus infections and I'm not in an area with any of my regular doctors. I do not feel like I was genuinely listened to. I was just one mor box to check to make some money.

I went ahead with a severe sore throat and my ears hurting. Not once did the doctor look at my ears, she laughed it off and said I had a severe sore throat after doing a strep mono and flu test on me. I went to the dentist the very next day and he even saw red pockets on my throat and he prescribed me an anabiotic. Not happy with the doctor I saw

I could not get an appt with my primary care so thought I'd try out MD Live. Easy to set up online, got phone call within a few minutes. Doctor told me I should go purchase over the counter medications and rest after telling me I have an upper respiratory infection. Normally when I have this issue which is about twice a year, my primary care gives me a steroid shot or in pill form. After the visit I immediately called customer service. Two hours later I received a call from a nurse who told me they only follow CDC guidelines and that an Upper Respiratory Infection is nothing more than a common cold. I told her I have always been told that going untreated, it can lead to Bronchitis. I told her then I would like a refund of my copay because I do not feel I got the service that I paid for. I will never use this service again. What a waste of time and money. UPDATE, 6 DAYS LATER - I was able to finally get in to my primary care doctor and was given a steroid pack. I cannot stress enough, if you think you are really sick and need medication, go see a doctor face to face and do not waste your time and money with this service.
