I give them 1 star because they don’t have an option of giving no stars at all . I have waited for 2 days to talk to someone without any success. They also place a hold on your credit card without you receiving any service. They make appointments and then there automated line calls to say doctor is still with another patient. I have wasted 2 days for nothing.

Not sure for what exactly they are there!! (1) 2 times I booked appointment in the afternoon - one time they called me at 3 am in the night, sedond time no one event bothered to call me! -- Both time they charged copay to me credit card !!!! (2) Even if you talk to them, They can't prescribe most of the medicines (except general/over the counter ones).. and finally ask to visit a dr in person!! Calling on customer care also sucks! ... they keep saying 4.4 rating out of 5 !! hahaha... hopeless service!!

I had a horrible experience with a MDLIVE "doctor" on 3/14/20. The majority of the call, that I paid for, was her telling me about her problems when she gets sick. After listening to this for about 5 minutes I finally explained that I called in because I was sick. NOT to hear about her previous illness. After that she prescribed an inhaler and told me to call the 800# and request a refund. I did call the 800# and request a refund and went to urgent care where I was put on an antibiotic, cough syrup and decongestant. After talking to customer care I was still billed. YOUR DOCTOR SUGGESTED I REQUEST A REFUND BECAUSE IT WAS SHOTTY SERVICE and you still billed me after stating you wouldn't because you listened to the phone call. SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY PEOPLE AND GO STRAIGHT TO URGENT CARE AND AVOID THESE OUT OF TOWN WHO KNOWS WHERE THEY ARE 'DOCTORS'

I wish I could give negative stars! Health officials and the media are recommending high risk possible Corona Virus infected people seek VIRTUAL DOCTORS right now to avoid the infest swamp at the hospitals and clinics. Im very high risk (older and a cancer survivor) and have just started getting symptoms as of yesterday. Slight fever, dry cough, chest pain, cold sores all over my mouth. The doctor (Dr. Benjamin Toh) basically said to drink liquids and monitor it ...I couldn't believe he just said that !!!! I said what about the new preventive treatment that is now being prescribed for high riskers and people who test positive called (Chloroquine) which Trump just announced on the news yesterday and FDA passed and is now being prescribed for treatment and prevention. The DOCTOR had NO CLUE about this medication even though it's all over the news! The doctor literally started cutting me off and arguing with me and so when I started to argue back he just ended the appointment! just hung up on me! Worst experience of my LIFE! I thought maybe they would over-night me a test kit to send back but NOPE ...I thought maybe they would prescribe me the drug since I'm high risk and have the symptoms (as a preventative measure) but NOPE ....totally acted like they don't give a crap .... pretty sure he just wanted me to DIE. The doctor didn't even advise me to go to any clinic or hospital if my symptoms got worse ...WHAT A JOKE of a service !!!! Don't use this service if you have CORONAVIRUS symptoms that's for sure! Now I gotta go down and risk possibly giving it to someone else ...or risk getting it from someone else when I go to a flooded clinic and wait 12 hours to see a doctor around a bunch of SICK people. Nice!

Due to the current pandemic and the fact that I have asthma, I have been advised to avoid going in person to the doctor’s office or urgent care. My asthma is acting up due to allergies and I am out of my medication. My doctors office phone is ringing off the hook and I can’t get a hold of anyone there. I went to MDLive as it was recommended to me by my health insurance that I use telemedicine. I made an appointment for 3pm with a provider 24 hours in advance. I signed into the app 15 minutes before my appointment and was in the “waiting room”. 2 minutes after my appointment start time, the app said the provider was ready but then the app booted me from the appointment. No attempt was made by the provider to contact me via phone. MDLive called me a few minutes later with an automated call asking me if I wanted to see a provider now via video or telephone, and I said yes. While I waited I called customer service and I waited on the phone nearly an hour and a half before being told the original doctor from my 3pm appointment had technical issues on his end, it was not my fault. However, the current wait time was about 5 hours to get in contact with a doctor on the waiting line. I planned in advance and made an appointment and it was not my fault it was cancelled. MDLive should have attempted to reconnect me to the appointment or to contact me via phone for the consultation. I’m at risk from COVID19 due to my asthma and I’ve run out of medication. Now I have to wait another day to get in touch with a provider through MDLive and I am not confident this will work.

Awful! I made an appointment at 3am for the earliest appt of 645pm. I waited in the app for an HOUR when the app disconnected. No service after waiting all of that time. No email acknowledging that the dr never established a connection with me. A waste of my time, and I will NOT use their services again. EDITED TO ADD: Yes, we are in the middle of Covid-19. I was instructed to use this service instead of going to my dr or urgent care. I went into this understanding that this would be why there would be a long wait. That doesn’t excuse common decency, and sending an email or text to your patient letting them know that the dr would be late. That doesn’t excuse the app closing on me after I had been waiting for an hour. That doesn’t excuse no one reaching out to me to let me know that they are aware of the app closing without me completing my appt, and offering to reschedule. Tough times does NOT excuse terrible service or lack of follow up.

Potentially the worst experience I have ever had. Working in health tech myself, they are terrible. MD didn’t show, I have waited over 4 hours. Getting in touch with them is impossible. They have no direct line of contact to Cigna. I am a 30 year old with a fever and COVID symptoms. I spent my day wasting time on hold for this trash rather than being seen at another option. For them to integrate with large insurance carriers and be ill-prepared to handle large volume is beyond sad. Patient care is not their focus.

I work in the healthcare industry and can tell you, I've never had such a negative experience. My doctor didn't even show up to the appointment. I waited over 40 minutes for him! I've been on hold with customer service and even they are slow to respond. Been on hold for 20 minutes with them. I better not get charged for this "visit"
