The wait time to see the doctor was acceptable - about 15 minutes. The doctor was an excellent listener, patient and kind. He was also very competent. This was my first experience using MDLIVE, and I would definitely use it again.

During the night I could feel something wasn't right, that cellulitis was setting in. I know it spreads quickly and has a risk of Sepsis. I recalled a staff member in my office raving how good MDLIVE was so I signed in. It took me a little bit to complete my profile. (I recommend getting yours set up early so you don't have to wait to complete it.) I requested an appointment (I chose phone vs video) and uploaded a photo of the infected site. Then within 10 minutes I was on the phone with a doctor. This was at 6:10 am folks! Knowing I could have this chat in my bedroom and get the meds I knew I needed ASAP was so reassuring. I was in pain and really didn't want to leave my house that day. The doctor was fabulous. He explained everything to me, cautioned me on what to watch for, and gave me some excellent follow-up tips. I will absolutely use this for emergencies in the future. A $10 copay is so much better than $50 or more for emergency care.
