My experience with this company was terrible. The doctor who called us was hard to understand and clearly didn’t know anything about migraines. She offered zero help. I called a different Telehealth service after my bad experience with MDLIVE and had a prescription and relief within an hour. I’ll never use this service again. They also charged me for the waste of an appointment. It was only $25 through my insurance, but I called just to let them know that I got charged even though the doctor admittedly wasn’t able to help us. I later got a call back from a super arrogant man nurse “trying” to resolve the complaint. He made the experience even worse. What a crappy company.

My daughter had conjunctive eyes, doctor pretty much tell me to go to ER at this time for conjunctive eyes. These are the general doctor not specialty doctor. I was able to get second and third opinion from my friends who are doctors and they do not recommend us to go to ER for conjunctive eyes. This online thing is not accurate, only purpose to prescribe medicine. Not reliable , doctor who works for MDLIVE are they legit doctor? I don’t know

This has literally been the worst doctor experience ever. After filling out all the information with my medical history the doctor call 5 mins later. He’s very brief on the phone asking me about my symptoms and then says it sounds like I may have Covid 19?!? I literally had no symptoms of this, no trouble breathing no chest pain no cough. I questioned this and he said there’s nothing he can do I should go to urgent care and ended the call. I think it’s ridiculous this service promotes itself as the same as seeing a doctor but only talk to me for 5 mins, misdiagnose me and then referred me to urgent care but issues no refund. You didn’t do anything smh this is definitely a scam

Prior Approval The initial visit went well. The doctor prescribed a topical gel and sent it to my pharmacy. The pharmacy found out from my insurance company that a Prior Authorization (PA) from the doctor is required. I gave them whatever information I could. After 10 days of multiple phone calls to MDLIVE, CVS Caremark, my doctor and my insurance company, I still do not have approval. The clinic where the doctor works told my pharmacist they "don't do PAs". My insurance company said they couldn't help and that I should have asked the doctor if a PA is required -- how would I have known to ask that? So today I gave up and had to meet online with my doctor and will be charged for an office visit. She will reissue the prescription with the required PA. My visit with MDLIVE was a waste of time and money and caused significant additional time for me, my pharmacist and my doctor with no resolution. MDLIVE should not be contracting with a doctor who is unwilling to complete the job.

service is great, but two suggestions: 1. can you make it easy (click a link) to attend an already scheduled appointment? Ideally, in the appointment section on the upcoming tab. 2. can you make it easy to schedule follow up appointments? currently the process it to got through the entire "who needs help today?" cycle. that is not easy or intuitive. suggest to be able to click on my profile--> providers, or from past appointments to click on the doctor then schedule. thank you.

Nice lady, but I learned nothing I hadn’t already read a million times on the internet before desperation drove me to this. None of my issues were addressed and the physician essentially told me to do everything I was already doing. I need to get bloodwork done and a real doctor.

My wife used the app for severe pain on her right side. The "doctor", in less then 5 minutes, diagnosed her with shingles without even listening as she was trying to describe her pain and it's location. Very dismissive. Now we are out $82 (money we absolutely need)for a totally useless "diagnosis" by someone who obviously doesn't give a damn about the person they are supposed to be helping.

Trying to add a dependant on the account is imposible with the poor interface. Sent email to no avail. Waiting time for this basic admin task, one hour. Other than that, doctors are really caring, if you can get through the nightmarish admin.
