I used MDLIVE to get a referral to a dermatologist, they don't use the codes required by Blue Cross Blue Shield for an acceptable referral. I still have to go see PCP to get in to see the skin Doc. It's all ridiculous.

JUST thought I'd leave a review to the next person there were they might not waste their time I've used mdlive several times the last time I use them it was pretty to satisfactory the doctor wouldn't even prescribed an antibiotic me and here we are in the middle of a pandemic are urgent care clinics are packed with sick people are emergency rooms are packed tonight they don't even ask me what I'm calling about they just say I'm unable to see you so there you have it film at eleven wonderful service

What a joke!!! Says 30 minutes or less. We waited for over an hour. When we called, they couldn't offer any information except to tell us to reschedule for a later time. This was an emergency. All we did was waste over an hour with someone in horrible pain. He is now headed to the ER due to the lack of service this company could provide. I will never ever try using this service again. Awful! Horrendous!

I used this service back in Oct 2019. At that time, the physician prescribed me a prescription that cost me $80. It was for medication that would be used in a nebulizer. I do not have a nebulizer so it was useless to me. I called MDLive and was told I would need to reach out to the physician. I did and they prescribed me an additional medication that cost me MORE money. The pharmacy would not take back because the order was filled - they told me to go back to the doctor. The doctor wouldn't do anything about the $80 and told me to contact MDLive. MDLive said there was nothing they could do so bottom line I was stuck paying the $80. Now a year later, MDLive contacts me saying I owe them $25.00 for my copay. Are you serious???? Do not use this service - you are better off going to a live doctor who you can go visit about a prescription mistake. If the doctor or service they work with makes a mistake, the patient should be have to be the one to pay for that mistake. DO NOT USE.

Then the doctor called and his side hung up. Guess what got charged. Called the customer care . They said yes it was his side They said if they give me another doctor I get charged. I told them I haven't even talked to one. Doctor called got charged. Then doctor tells me he doesn't treat uti Hello I'm over 50 years old not under 18 . And not a male. And a list of other things. I told him well it's not on the website you don't treat it. False advertising. He told me to go see a real doctor. I called CS again told them what the doctor said and she said well some are different kinds of doctors maybe he can't treat it. W t f !!!! By that time I'm asking for someone to remove the charges. She says well if I have another doctor call you'll get charged again. By that time I have my bank on one phone and them on another. 3 charges later no antibiotics and a bank dealing with it and going to my doctor I got a simple antibiotic and deleted thier app. Never ever again. So unless you got money to throw away and want to listen to some uneducated doctor who btw we can't even find info on here in this state or the USA about him go to a real doctor. Where you know you'll get treated for the money you spend. BTW it says this and I'm way over 18. Some other less intuitive, but more complex medical conditions they can't treat also get listed, such as urinary tract infections in males, and females under 18 years old

I have used MD live before and received pretty good results. This time my brief consultation ended with no medical treatment. I was advised to go see my family doctor for continued shingles treatment. The very quick consult with no resolution hardly seems worth the $30 I was charged. I saw my family doctor a few hours later for an examination. I left much more satisfied that he took his diagnosis and treatment more seriously. I left with a new prescription and new information about my condition. Same cost ($30 copay).

I had a consultation with Jerrett Tozzi. He completely ignored my request to refill an inhaler and called in a prescription for a steroid (which I told him I did not need or want). HE IGNORED ME. MDLive customer service is great, but this guy is not so great.

I have had multiple bad experiences with the MDLive platform and would not recommend using it. The first problem I encountered was when I had a doctor's appointment. The doctor suggested I follow up with him and the only way to do that is through the platform. I did so, but never got a response on which course of action to take. This rendered the original appointment worthless and I ended up having to see another doctor outside the platform to take care of my health issue. Second problem happened when a doctor had to cancel our appointment. She asked if I could reschedule for a specific day. There was no way to respond to her via the platform. I even called tech support and they agreed there was no way to respond. I had to go through creating an appointment from scratch, go through all of the doctors, hopefully, find her and select her. But even though I was able to request and appointment this way, I could not message her at all. And lastly, I believe they violated my privacy by sharing all of my medical appointments with a health care provider who I don't think had any business looking at my other appointments. There was no reason for her to have access to that information. I do not believe this company respects the patient experience or privacy concerns.
