The program seems to be designed for initial visits only and not for any follow up visits.Encountered extreme difficulty in making a follow-up visit with the provider. Several attempts on the computer, two phone calls to customer service, an appointment that came and went without the provider contacting me, several more calls to customer service, many days have passed and no one has called to schedule the appointment. This is far too much hassle.

Prescription didn't reach pharmacy. I ask for re-send, and they assure me, but they don't realize more than 48 hours after consultation requires waiving of new consultation by re-prescribing. Then the pharmacy they offered didn't have that. Many interactions that were not unprofessional but did show a failure to coordinate basic operations or prevent future problems. Avoid MDLive.

MDLive is a joke! I got charged $55 for a lady to tell me she couldn't help me. $55! SHE DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! I was on the phone with Dr. Warner for all of 2 minutes and they charged me $55! NEVER AGAIN!

I was charged 30 days after my initial consultation in which I did not authorize. A claim was never submitted to my insurance company and I am covered 100. I have been told my 3 different representatives I will get a call in 24 hours from a supervisor and have heard from absolutely no one

9/12/2020 App is unusable in IOS14 due to continuous app crashing. 9/20/2020 Not only have I been dealing with app crashes, but providers have canceled my appointment twice now on the day of service after waiting over a month for my appointment. Why is this acceptable? Sad that this is our healthcare now. I’ll be begging my insurance provider to find another platform! 9/22/2020 Spent over 5 hours on the phone with MD live today trying to get 2 prescriptions refilled. I was hung up on by a nurse after they called me a rambler and asked that I cut to the point. When I asked to speak with someone who could speak to me in a respectful way, they chose to hang up. Then, I call back in and get ahold of a nurse who is helpful and wants to make sure I’m taken care of. She connects me with a doctor who is unwilling to fill my prescriptions. I then call the same nurse back and she said she was going to talk with the first doctor and send me to another doctor who would be able to get these taken care of for me. Again, awesome nurse doing everything she can to help. The second doctor accused me of being a doctor shopper and told me that if the first doctor did not fill my prescription that he wasn’t either. After I told him the nurse connected he and I and said he’d be able to help, he responded with “nurses don’t write prescriptions.” I then called the nurse back. At this point she’s doing nothing but apologizing and clearly feels bad about the situation, but only offers the solution of going to an urgent care the following day. If my insurance provide is not willing to leave the MDLive partnership by November, I will be changing my insurance to another provider. I have never been more humiliated by a healthcare entity that I have been with md live. Having the phone hung up I’m my face, having my appointments randomly canceled for inappropriate reasons, and being called a doctor shopper is enough of a reason for me to not use this service and I hope that’s it’s enough for you too. Hands down the worst behavioral health experience of my life on this platform! Please do not use this platform for behavioral health! 9/22/2020 - the reply from MDLive to this review does nothing to solve the issues. Instead, they want to send me to the same help line that I experienced hours of issues with. they have been reported to the BBB and I will continue to raise red flags in all places I can after the way I was treated. No one deserves to be treated that way.

On 09/16/20, I had a telehealth consultation with Dr. Eric Zacharias. I explained to him I had to answer questions on my employer's health app before reporting to work and because I checked the headache and congestion boxes, the app told me not to report to work. I told Dr. Zacharias those sysmptoms were due to a sinus flare up that had started the previous day, but I needed a note clearing me to report to back to work. These symptoms were also given to an intaker during registration before my appointment. Dr. Zacharias coded my diagnosis as "headache - muscle tension, which is something he and I never discussed-nothing even similar. Therefore, he falsely coded my diagnosis. Everything was going well until I found out what Dr. Zacharias had done. I called and asked for the diagnosis and code to be changed but the customer service representative could only forward my message. Within 30 minutes a nurse called me back and said Dr. Zacharias said he couldn't change the code but would add a supplement saying I wanted him to add congestion to the diagnosis. After the call, I just couldn't accept what the nurse had told me. I therefore called again and spoke with another customer service representative and advised I was not accepting Dr. Zacharias's diagnosis and code because we never talked about that. This representative said she was escalating my message. When I received a call back from another nurse she said the diagnosis and code would be changed. Note: Make sure you register your account so you have access to view all your documents. The consultation document shows the diagnosis. The code is not there, but the nurse told me the diagnosis displayed was due to the the code the doctor used. I was able to view my documents as soon as my appointment was done.

Twice now they have told me they "cannot evaluate me over video." Then why am I paying for a virtual doctor's appointment? Why is my primary care doctor perfectly capable of evaluating me over video? I don't think these doctors know what they're doing, I think their job is to tell us to go to an in person urgent care and they don't know how to look at videos or photos and provide care, making this service a scam. EDIT after their response: To be clear - I was not told I could not have a video evaluation prior to scheduling one, I was told this AFTER I was already on a video call with a "doctor." The man said he was not able to evaluate my injuries over a video, despite having a full pre-screening phone call with another MD Live associate who assured me they COULD evaluate scrapes / cuts / infections over video. I sent numerous photos, and had great lighting for the video chat. If my primary care doctor can evaluate me over video, MD Live doctors should be able to. By the way - this is the SECOND time this has happened with MD Live. The first time I had COVID, and was really scared and had trouble breathing, and asked if I needed to go to a hospital or not / how serious it was. They ALSO told me at that time that they could not evaluate me over video, despite having a specific COVID choice for why you're doing a video visit, and offered no assistance, reassurance, or instruction. They said "maybe you have to go to the hospital, maybe you don't, listen to your body." They charge you a fee for a video visit to refuse to evaluate you. Period.
