medicare from California is not accepted. I was charged $82.00 for a prescription for amoxicillin. The doc. a very ignorant doc, just to play safe prescribed amoxicillin to be safe and did not consider at all what would make me feel better. shame on you!

We have used this service twice now and the doctors have been good. The billing service/customer service is horrible. The first time I had to fight for months to get reimbursed a copay they charges me when we have a zero copay. This time I am getting multiple messages saying insurance and date of birth are I correct and they are charging me $55. Call customer service and they have no clue what is wrong. So here I sit getting 2 messages a day and no one to help me. And to your reply, called that number 4 days ago, person could not help me, asked for supervisor and was told could only leave a message and it would be returned in 24 hours. That msg was left on Sunday and it is now Thursday with NO RETURN call.

The doctor didn't provide a diagnosis, didn't deep dive into symptoms, didn't recommend any follow ups. He gave me a prescription of ibuprofen and told me to ice it. The purpose of my seeking MDLive first was to determine if I should go see a doctor but unfortunately I didn't get any information that I needed. The pain didn't get better, the symptoms got worse and the ibuprofen and icing weren't doing me any good so in the end, I made an appointment with a local doctor. I was diagnosed with tendinitis and was given a steroid shot. I probably won't use MDLive services in the future.

No a great experience

First try at Tele-med visit .. felt like a call trying to sell me an extended used car warranty. Being a healthy middle aged male, I know when I am getting a sinus infection and what has been prescribed and worked to resolve issues in the past. What should have been a simple you have a sinus infection and we will call in an antibiotic turned into a Covid screening process. Guessing one may get paid extra for a covid diagnosis? End result no meds prescribed recommended flo.nase or over the counter.. guessing I could have made that decision myself .. so tomorrow I go to for exposure in the covid pool at my local health provider to get my standard evaluation and prescription. Not liking this new socialism medical process.

Although I've had several positive experiences with MDLive doctors, the one I had this morning was a complete waste of time. I have a sinus infection that always requires an antibiotic. However, the doctor I spoke to this morning was completely condescending. She said to use a sinus rinse, a humidifier and to take Afrin. Seriously? As if I couldn't have googled that information myself! She told me to quarantine and get a Covid test, so my symptoms must be serious enough for that, but she repeatedly refused an antibiotic. Shame on her and shame on MDLive for hiring her.

Hedgefund backed healthcare. Just what the American healthcare system needs..... greedy Wall St caring for the sick. Not! And doesn't the volume of self congratulatory reviews here seem a bit off?

Terrible customer service. They will take your money for the doctor and help you right away, but if there's any issue good luck getting through to anyone over the phone. The phone system is a joke, no one will help you, they just take a message and no one calls you back. The doctor had to make a change to my prescription. No one could locate the doctor to make the change and no one at MD Live would help me. I am shocked at their AWFUL level of customer service. This is not patient health care when you make your patients wait in pain for HOURS waiting on the most simple prescription.
