I contacted MDLive because it's part of my benefit package and I didn't want to go to a doctor's office during COVID. I requested a Zpak for a sinus/ear infection. No go. After several "visits" my symptoms didn't go away because they prescribed everything but what I requested. I know my body and I know what heals this common ailment in my body. On my last visit I wanted to order another Zpak since the last prescription they offered made me seriously ill to my stomach to where I had to sleep on the bathroom floor due to severe diarrhea and vomiting. The "doctor" suggested I was old and accused me of abusing drugs. I am old-in my early 60's but I've had sinus infections my whole adult life. I was asking for a specific antibiotic and had already told her that the infection started in my ears when I got wiped out by a huge wave when I was surfing. (That was 2 visits ago) Yeah, I'm old but I'm in good enough condition to surf which isn't for wimps. The doctor was hostile and didn't sound like a spring chicken herself. She told me I should see a doctor. What the __? I thought that's what she was?? It was a simple request for a specific antibiotic. This went on for several visits and meanwhile I was uncomfortable enough that it was hard to sleep. I work or otherwise I wouldn't have persisted. I finally went to my primary doctor, got the Zpak and 2 weeks later I was fine. If I had done this from the beginning I would have spent less money and would have been healed months sooner. Don't bother with MDLive. Who knows what they wrote in my medical history chart. Seriously, go someplace else so you don't get accused of drug abuse.

My employer stated that I had access to MDLive telehealth services. I attempted to register on their website and received an error, "wrong group." I called and they said they could not verify my coverage so it would be $85.00. I declined and called my HR dept. who confirmed that I am covered. Now, I am going to a live doctor -- telehealth is a joke.

I was disappointed that I could not schedule an appointment to at least discuss a situation with a doctor because your "bot" determined it was something I needed to go to the ER for. I didn't. I scrounged and found some meds in my house and started taking them and this morning have determined I will not be seeing a doctor. While I understand virtual visits are not good for all things, I also think one thing this service should be for is a consult to determine how urgently a situation might need in person care from a physician. You know... maybe we don't need a $500 ER bill for an antibiotic because of a cat bite....or maybe it was warranted. It would have been nice to get that "triage" counsel from a medical professional instead of a bot.

Website is horrible, completely missed appointments due to their site not registering and no warning prior to appt that you needed a mdlive account specifically. Options to sign in with cigna credentials does work and send you in a loop. Terrible service

I wouldn’t even give MDLIVE a 1 star rating but I had to click at least that in order to be able to write this review. After telling me before I paid the $49 co-pay for my son to be seen by a provider that they could provide a school excuse last Thursday they failed to do so and now tell me my insurance doesn’t allow them to provide a school excuse!! I am highly upset and no one there will help me!! Stay away from this company they are phoney & will Lie about anything just to make a dollar.

Incompetent customer service! No technical support! I experienced disrupted service for weeks, and despite reaching out to a supervisor, nothing was fixed. I decided to stop using it as it was too stressful. I really liked my provider, but the portal was not connecting during virtual appointments, and nobody could help. I spent hours on the phone with MDLIVE customer service. All they knew was how to verify my identity.

My insurance company has an app that funneled me to MD Live. Making an appointment was easy enough. I logged in early and set up my cam and mic. A few minutes after my appointment should have started, I saw the red notification icon at the top of my screen and thought I’d see what that was about while I waited for the doctor. Once clicked, I was taken to a different screen and immediately hit the back button on my browser to return to my appointment. Then I got a text message seconds later saying “you missed your appointment.” Why have links that take you out of the call? That’s SO stupid. I was forced to reschedule and the second time I did not touch anything and waited patiently for 15 minutes before getting another “you missed your appointment” text and was booted from the waiting screen. They told me the doctor was having technical difficulties. All in all I wasted 30 min to an hour trying to use their services. I’m NOT trying again. I cannot recommend this awful service.

You have tried to overcharge me by 98.00- you have confirmed an appointment then unconfirmed it - I have phoned 3 times and this has not been fixed- your app is hard to use and your staff incompetent
