In my experience MDLive is little more than a quick fix that saves a full on visit to a doctor's office. The few times that I have used the service it has added little value except to assuage guilt that you should do something for a sick person. They take your money and let you know that you should see your primary care physician. Save your money.

DO NOT USE. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Waste of time and money. If illnesses are all going to be dismissed as COVID-19, then why are you taking payment just to tell me to go get tested instead of clearly stating on your site to go get tested first so we're not all just paying to be dismissed? I literally just paid to be told to go get a covid-19 test, nothing more.

dropped my appointment and was not able to reschedule my appointment. completely wasted my time *update on comment received* As the follow up suggested, I did call customer service to reschedule my appointment and the operator told me they had no ability to help me with that and I had to go back to the website to reschedule. The phone receptionists are useless.

I had scheduled a video consult through MDLIVE and I several things went wrong: I opened MDLIVE early and tried to wait for the appointment time about 20 minutes before the scheduled time just in case a technical issue happened, and the Cigna login that I used was unable to connect due to the Cigna website being down that day. I then tried to login directly through MDLIVE and was prompted that I had to make a new account that wasn't through the Cigna link, and it seemed to work and it connected to my original profile. However, there were no appointments in my schedule and I was still running early to the consult. I called tech support and they generated a new password and user for me, but again, that didn't work and now I have three separate logins tied to one account (which only one login now works, yet all are still discoverable when trying to change passwords?). I was unable to make my appointment (which I still had to pay for) through technical difficulties due to shoddy craftsmenship of a website. The next consult I scheduled, I made sure to choose 'phone' instead of video to avoid this, and yet I still ran into issues. At the time of the appointment, I received half a voicemail from the doctor who attempted to call me back a few minutes later. The second call I was able to connect into the conference room the line sets up, however it dropped as soon as we both connected into the room. The third time she tried to call me, the call broke down into the unmistakable "line disconnected" beeping. I was never able to reach customer service about this issue and I'm out another consult fee.

Had a consultation on Friday night where the provider ensured they would call a prescription in to my pharmacy on file. Prescription was never called in, and I was on hold to speak to a support agent both Sunday, and Monday (Labor Day - Holiday) and was never put through to an agent. Finally got a hold of an agent today, Tuesday, and they said since I called over 48 hours after my initial consultation, I would have to schedule (and pay for) a new one. Will not be using MDlive or suggesting to friends or family.

Dr Susan Rhoades is terrible. Didn't listen, went off on my daughter. Absolutely worst bedside manor and waste of time. I've also tried adding a family member for weeks. I get left o. Hold. Redirected to back to my health provider. Not possible to resolve. Will be looking for other medical options.

Mdlive website is a mess. My insurance app redirected me to to that site. I made a login account but it would never confirm my email even though I click the link and retried several times. It wouldn't correctly input my insurance bcbs. But it did ask for credit card information which I withheld. After 30 minutes getting lead in circles I decided to delete my account information. There is noway on the user end to do that. I had to call in to which the operator said she put in a request to delete it, but had no time frame of when it would happen. If it's that hard to get started what's the service like? I'm not going to put my health in the hands of an incompetent company. I regret the whole experience. Response to your reply. Even though my account setup was never completed and confirmed with email. Your representative said it could not be removed because it is now medical records. No representative I talked to was willing or able to satisfy my request. Fortunately I didn't get the chance to volunteer enough information to put myself at risk. If you really care you will make it obvious to the user that all information is perminate and will be kept indefinitely before they sign up.

ZERO stars. Attempted to be seen for an issue that I considered going to the ER for, but thought I'd give this a try. They cancelled my appt. 3 times in one day. I was waiting for my video to start after getting a text that my appt. would start soon. No one ever showed up and then I got an email stating "your appt. was cancelled." So, I called to see what happened and was told "that doctor was double booked." Go to the ER if you're thinking of giving this a try or you'll end up like me -- sorry I didn't go to the ER after work instead of using MDLIVE.
