I find most staff try to help when I call but my main problems have been with the website and trying to simply confirm appointments. I’d rather not have to talk with people to have to explain the same problem/glitch over and over. I value my free time too much to spend it facilitating a broken or impaired software/ website. The provider is excellent.

I was not able to get the LORAZEPAM 1 MG. She needs.

The initial forms were a bit lengthy, one of my meds was not accepted (Imdur) or Isorbide. I spent too much time trying to put it in over and over. The doctor was fast in responding but didn't seem to want to give me a lot of information. I assume because he did not know me. My Pharmacy had my script called in relatively fast (2 hours) I had my antibiotics one hour later, total time was faster than a visit to my MD

A lot of background noise on the providers end. Had a hard time hearing them. He also didn't say what my diagnosis was so I had to wait for my paperwork to be finished. Wait time was great as it was only a few minutes and overall I would still use MDLive again.

The connection was good, the medical provider was empathetic and listened. He was courteous and respectful. His treatment recommendation was to go to an Urgent care or use large doses of acetaminophen because they could not prescribe pain medication or muscle relaxants. While he was very pleasant to speak with, this was completely a waste of my time and money.

The doctor agreed with me and then wrote something else in his report. He told me to go to a clinic for an ultrasound, but the clinic doesn't have ultrasound capabilities and I was left having to pay a ridiculous amount of money to my doctor to see me so she can give me a referral. It was basically a waste of time.

Dr. Rafaelian showed up 15 minutes late for the appointment. No apology. No explanation for why she was late. No nothing. Then, her computer was having a ton of feedback and echo issues (this was a telemedicine appointment), so I asked her if she could adjust her volume or something so that I could actually hear her. Nope. Ok... Then she asked me why I was there and I explained that I was on short term disability from work and my internist asked me to see a psychiatrist before he could write me a note saying I could go back to work. She then spent the next 15 minutes of the consultation explaining to me that she does not write notes for people on any type of disability because "some people are malingering." I told her I was trying to get a note so I could get BACK TO WORK, not miss more work. But nope. She couldn't do anything for me. Then she kept repeatedly telling me that I needed to find a doctor that I had been seeing for a long time. I kept telling her I don't have a doctor I've been seeing for a long time. But she just kept repeating this advice. Cool...I'll just build a time-machine and start seeing one doctor 6 years ago. I'll get right on that, thanks. Then she charged me $175 for that lovely experience. The end. What a total waste of time and money. Avoid this service at all costs. UPDATE: After complaining with the company they offered me a refund for this service, so I've changed my review from a 1-star to a 3-star.

I say average because I would have gotten the same care and service anywhere I went, I believe. However, I was upset that the fees were $82 out of pocket. I used this service because my employer was touting this as a great benefit. After using this service - unfortunately it was after - I checked around and found the same telemedicine-type service through my local hospital for half the price. Same care/service for half the price... I'll go through my local hospital next time.
