So far this is one of the worst services I have ever used. All the one Doctor would tell me is to go to the ER. No, I called you instead of going to the ER. And for Behavioral Health, they want you to stick with the first counselor you choose, even if you disagree with their counseling style, or they dont have availability for the next 3 weeks. You are still supposed to stick with them. They dont understand that people shouldn't have to stay with a counselor that isn't a good fit. Billing: the counselor canceled the appointment since I was still under the care, supposedly as I had one visit with the previous one and no one told me I had to stay with one, but she went ahead and charged me a no show fee, when I was there and she was the one who said she could not see me. WHAT A CROCK OF SHE-IT. I have contacted a supervisor who is going to reverse the no-show charge but I shouldn't have had to contact her.

Mdlive is good for things that are not severe emergencies like diarrhea, muscle pain, pink eye, etc. I used them about 4-5 times. I had a few complaints like the doctor having an attitude once, before i changed jobs. After i changed jobs it became impossible to update my insurance and they billed me as a cash payer after that ($82). I talked to multiple people and even if my insurance is legit thru my job they insisted on the cash payment. So its no longer worth using because of that.

Very pleasant however, unhhelpful.

I scheduled an appointment for my son to discuss a possible wart or corn on his foot. Treatment is different for each condition, so I needed confirmation. The entire phone call lasted 2 minutes (including the warning about being recorded being repeated twice), and the doctor didn’t even look at the photos that were sent in. She seemed surprised that the call wasn’t for myself, even though I scheduled a pediatric visit. The whole call was so short. I feel that it was not very thorough. The notes posted to the account after the appointment didn’t even have anything written, even the diagnosis was blank. Honestly, we will probably never call again. I feel a nurse line is more helpful. They spend more time with you asking questions and that call is free. The doctor didn’t even explain what caused the issue or if there is anything we can do for prevention. I do not feel that call was worth the $55 spent. I will say that the wait was short and accurate timing though.

Very good or very bad, no in-between. I met with a lovely therapist for talk therapy, but when trying to discuss my symptoms with a psychiatrist he was incredibly rude and interrupted me constantly, told me there was no possible way my symptoms were valid, and at one point said he "didn't value opinions from therapists" when I mentioned talking points she asked me to bring up. He tapered me off of a previous medication too quickly that made me violently ill, and has forgotten to fill medications after I pay for meetings, requiring me to schedule another one. Scheduling a 30 minute consultation and having him hang up after 3 minutes after not addressing my concerns is disheartening. This last meeting he asked for my information as it was "our first time meeting". It was our 5th. Will be seeking psychiatric care somewhere else even if it is out of pocket, they can't be bothered to even look up your name in advance.

I have used MDLIVE twice now. The first time was very helpful and the doctor I saw really knew what she was doing. The second time, however, was terrible. The doctor basically just kept saying how bad other doctors were and didn't help me at all. He was also quite caustic. I wish there was a good way to rate individual doctors so I could know who not to see.

The provider was actually very good but no customer support. My issue and the reason I am not following up on this platform is that despite a three week window no one at MDLive can tell me if my insurance has authorized the visits yet. So if I want to be seen regularly I need to charge $1 to book the spot BUT (and here's the hook) if my insurance doesn't authorize I will be charged $180 each visit each week. How can you run a medical service and not know how to get an authorization? SCAM. Find a provider who has billing support.

Not reliable......... I had a call appointment but while it was connecting me, it dropped the call. Then I was told that I missed the appointment when there was no other way to reach them. Called customer service and was told that I had the number blocked when I didn't. Please fix your appointment system, I already waited a week and now I don't even know if it will reschedule me
