Very fast and friendly! But antibiotics didn’t help now I’ll have spend more money🤷🏼‍♀️

The practitioner I spoke with about my daughter didn't seem to have an opinion; I felt like I paid my co-pay to have someone say "yeah, that's probably good, keep doing that," as opposed to any actual recommendation for treatment or a prescription to get her over her illness, to have the "visit" be topped off with, "well, if what you're doing at home doesn't work, I'd take her in to a doctor to be seen." To be honest, I Thought that was what I was doing. Also, their connectivity/service was poor-- there was a several second lag time and his phone continually cut out, so it seemed like I was being patched through to someplace and it was very difficult to have a conversation. I MIGHT try this again for something easy to diagnose and medicate, like pinkeye, but for her cold/sinus infection, I felt like I wasted my money, and I think I should've bit the bullet and spent the 4 or 5 hours in an actual office to be seen instead. Very disappointed overall.

The convenience of this is excellent. The doctor called me in less than the estimated call time. However, my script wasn't called in to my pharmacy that I selected. I ended up visiting the ER, but I didn't want to have to call back in and be charged another fee just to have them try to send in the script again. I'd probably feel differently had everything went as it was expected.

Contacted MDLIVE for a sinus infection that I though I had and explained all the symptoms to them including the aching teeth and gums and sinus cavity, along with fever and cold chills. The doctor who called for the appointment stated I had a head cold and it was a virus and not an infection. He stated to use saline and take Advil. I went to my GP the next day and she said immediately stated that it was a sinus infection. This is my SECOND bad experience with MDLIVE. The 1st time was a UTI and I went through the process of setting up and appointment and when the doctor called back he stated he could not help men with a UTI that it was against the policy of MDLIVE to do so and that it was not a common thing among men to have. He recommended that I see my general. Which I did. The BAD was that he still charged me for the call when he did nothing. With that being said, I will not be giving a 3rd chance to MDLIVE.

felt like i wasted $42.00 and should've just gone to my regular physician. Video kept freezing, very short visit, dr just said its a virus and im still sick with an awful cough and sore throat.

I was assigned some random doctor and not the one I scheduled. When he called he was obviously walking someplace and doing other things, as if my appointment was a side job. His advice was sound which is why I’m not giving one star. It was my first call so not sure if this is common for the service or not but it was certainly an experience that will make me think twice before trying again.

I guess there are only a few things these doctors can actually help you with. And apparently they won’t help at all with any sort of mental health issues.. I had seen a PCP before for anxiety issues and was just simply prescribed an anti-anxiety medication. Well I guess MDLive doesn’t want any association with mental health because the doctor really didn’t help at all. He just said they are very strict on problems like this and he would not be able to prescribe absolutely anything. Didn’t make sense to me.. I assumed since they are doctors that they would be able to prescribe but apparently not. Trying to save time by doing this because I only have one day a week where I can actually see a doctor so it is very difficult. Waste of time.

Very bad all around experience with MD Live. At first I was very excited to try the app because it sounded like a great idea that would save me a lot of time. However, it ended up taking much more time than a regular doctors appointment and provided no solution. I rescheduled my work schedule for an appointment with the doctor through the app. I waited on the line for almost an hour on the app and the doctor never showed up to the appointment. I have been trying to reschedule an appointment for the last week and each time I call MD Live I provide them with my availability and they say they will look for an available time. Then I'll get a call back saying I need to tell them when I am available. When I try to call back and tell them my availability again they say they don't know what I am talking about and will look into it. It's an endless circle that leads to nowhere. My advice is that if you're thinking about using this app, just don't.
