I was sick enough not to leave the house so I tried MDlive. The doctor absolutely wouldn't prescribe an antibiotic. also, she wouldn't admit that she needed to see my temperature and look into my ears and chest to make a determination of my needs. most of what was prescribed was OTC. I ended up going to a minute clinic and they found me with a temperature and an ear infection which called for antibiotics. After filling out an MDLive review they called and left a message for me to call them back. after holding for a bit, they got on the line and asked if I had called the right number? at that point I was done with MDlive.

Doctor prescribed medicine that was too high of a disease and for too long. Once it didn’t work and I had to go to my PCP, she said if I continued, a side effect could have been a stroke. Absolutely ridiculous!

Maybe it was the reason that I called, but I didn't get any additional assistance by using the application. I still had to go and see 3 practitioners.

I appreciated the advice the dr. gave me but I feel he didn't take into consideration my history and therefore, didn't adequately take care of my issue.

I used MDLive for help with an eye infection that came on after I accidentally jabbed myself in the face with a 2x4. I assumed it would require prescription antibiotic eye-drops, so I did some recon first to make sure they could even prescribe antibiotics. Their FAQ's said they could, so I went ahead and set-up an appointment. The pre-appointment questionnaire included a question asking about any trauma to the eye, which I answered affirmatively with a description of the trauma. Once I got on the phone with the doctor (after paying the fee), he almost immediately informed me that he could not evaluate me for a traumatic eye injury and that I would have to go see a doctor in person. The phone call lasted maybe a minute, cost about $50, and accomplished nothing. Total waste of money that should have been averted in the pre-appt process once I detailed a condition that they cannot evaluate or treat.

The doctor lied about what he would prescribe. He said antibiotics and a decongestant, which doesn't sound like a big deal, because it's not. He only sent in the antibiotics. If you're not going to do what you say, then don't say it.

Sinus infection Dr. # 1 Would not give me what works every year when I get this x1 Zpac gave me an old school antibiotic one of the miocins so I tried it didn't work 10 days later , I called again spoke with a Dr. #2 very rude once again same answer no zpac and another 10 days of antibiotics by now my stomach is killing me all of the antibiotics I have taken . and still have sinus infection ,got appointment with local clinic had to wait a week to start zpac due to stomach took zpac sinus infection gone . your Dr.s should listen to patients history

The diagnosis was incorrect and the medicine he called in was Flonase, which I could buy over the counter.
