The doctor wasn't really able to help me because I couldn't get a good picture of what my throat looked like. She was very personable but in this particular case it wasn't helpful to use MDLIVE because I still ended up having to go to Urgent Care anyway.

It is difficult to schedule a primary care visit locally. So I decided to use MDLIVE. The form online for scheduling is easy to fill. They responded within 15 min. My call with the doctor lasted about 5 min. I tried to ask them another problem I have, they said I have to schedule a separate call for that. They gave me a prescription for medicine I need. But the medicine did not help my symptoms. I then realized I have no place to follow up unless I schedule another call. I think it helped me eased my mind, knowing I saw a doctor. But it definitely didn't help me improve my health problem this time. Decided to go see a specialist instead of primary care.

Could not diagnose over the phone. Had to see doctor in person.

I had a UTI. Called the 1st time. Was very pleased with the efficiency in returning my call and getting the care i needed, and the compassion shown. I had to call back becauase the medication prescribed didn't take care of the UTI. The efficiency of the return call was great. But he was rude. He didn't want to take any time to talk to me about trying a different medication. He just insisted it was a kidney infection and told me to go to the ER, and practically hung up on me! I'm a nurse! I knew it wasn't a kidney infection! Well....the reason why I'm calling them is to avoid ER and office visit charges! Listen to your patient people!! I ended up calling my doctor's office and going in and getting prescribed a different medication that cleared the infection. $180 later because I had to pay MDLIVE another $40 for their incompetent evaluation!

I received 2 phone calls telling me I was going to get a phone call. That is really stupid. One text was enough to say I was in line and hadn’t been forgotten- but instead, as I’m out making sales calls I had to step out twice only to hear that I was still in the queue. Stop that.

Call dropped during consultation and the doctor never called me back

Since I can't see specialists in MDLive, the use of it is can't be high.

Obviously had a cold with sinus congestion and was prescribed allergy medication even after clearly saying I didn’t have allergies (I’ve been tested by an allergist). Even the pharmacist said medication prescribed would not have helped with sinus congestion and pressure from a cold, medication inserts also indicated they would not work for congestion caused by the common cold. Disappointed.
