Meds weren't called in for 4 hrs.
Call was returned quickly. Dr. seemed knowledgeable. 4 hrs. AFTER my consultation, my medication had not been called into my pharmacy.

It took too long to get back to me
It took too long to get back to me. Otherwise the service is just fine.

Poor communication with patients
Most of the time I have had great service with MDLIVE, but on two occasions (today being one), I have had to wait an unacceptable amount of time for a physician consultation. On both occasions there were no physicians available in my state, but my appointment had been confirmed. I had to call in to Mdlive to discuss the delay. If there is no physician available, I believe the company should be responsible to inform the patient so that they can make a timely decision about what other care to pursue. In my case, the only after hours location in town closes at 9 pm and the delay in communication prevented me from taking my sick daughter there. My only option was the emergency room if we couldn’t get her fever and croupy cough under control.

Useful but not the same
It was nice to be able to connect with a doctor when I couldn't get an appointment, but I was given the wrong medication. The steroids were not effective as I had bronchitis, and I had to go to the clinic a week later for antibiotics. So MDLive is a useful tool but it's not the same as seeing a doctor.

What is the purpose of MDLive if I'm only going to be told to either go to my regular doctor or to the hospital? Last two times I've used this service that is what I was told so what is it good for?

Doctor seemed rushed
Doctor seemed rushed, also told me I would receive an email or message explaining what and how much to take besides my prescription, but never did. Ended up going to see my local doctor later since I didn’t se any improvements in what was first prescribed
