The physician was nice and listened to my complaints, but I did not feel like his suggestions were helpful. I ended going to a clinic and was prescribed antibiotics and steroid for a really bad sinus infection with bronchitis. I knew this was the problem but the doctor online cannot see me in person, so he could not really diagnose me properly. I have chronic sinusitis and get sick like this at least 2-3 times a year around the same time. I am in my 40s and I have had this problem since I was a child; therefore, I know myself and symptoms very well. I was disappointed and had to suffer longer than necessary, even though I expected the MDLIVE service to be helpful. I had to take two days off of work and miss instruction time with my students. I am unclear as to what I am supposed to call for. I can look up information on my own. If I make a call than I am truly sick and need medication to get well. I have already tried everything at home and would not call until I have been sick for many weeks. I am perplexed overall with the purpose of MDLIVE. Hmm?

The Dr. had poor people skills, and seemed to care more about covering his “I don’t want to get sued bases” than the actual medical issue.

I called two days in a row. The first doctor prescribed amoxicillan. The second day the cut was much more infected. I called again and the physician asked me who prescribed that antibiotic and said I had to go get new scripts that night and if it got any worse I had to go to the emergency room that night. in my opinion it is possible the first doctor did not prescribe an appropriate antibiotic and the second doctor completely overreacted. It was convenient and fast but I didn't appreciate the second physicians attitude that I had done something wrong...Eg "how did that happen?" my response "I dont know, you are the doctor."

I ended up having strept and the flu. The doctor seemed reluctant to prescribe antibiotics which I needed.

Was prescribed a prescription in ointment form instead of eye drops. The pharmacist even questioned it and said that it wasnt what was usually prescribed for my condition. I didnt know of anyway I could have got it changed.

I was on the phone for less than 3 minutes and I was prescribed the wrong antibiotic, a steroid that I didn’t want (that would have been wrong had I taken it) and cough medicine with codine. 10 days later, after my dose antibiotics that didn’t work, I was diagnosed with pneumonia. MD live was a waist of time and was dangerous. The reason why I gave it two stars instead of one, is that they were available in the early morning hours.

I was misdiagnosed. I don't feel the doctor listened to me when I described my symptoms. Based the diagnosis on the picture I sent alone. I'm still dealing with the same ailments I called for last week. I'm only giving this service 2 stars because I was able to speak to a doctor rather promptly.

Im really glad I didn't have to pay for this visit... I was hoping to avoid doctors costs by calling into this getting answers but all I was told to do was go to the ER... obviously more than a dr office visit would have cost. The DR I spoke to asked me "what are you hoping to get out of this call" answers that's what I was hoping for. Not worth my time
