UTI was the diagnosis...as I suspected
I had a low grade fever, shivering, and vomiting. I told them I thought it was a UTI due to having the urge to use the restroom all the time and nothing coming out. The doctor told me due to my diabetes that I needed to get to an emergency room...not an urgent care facility. Of course I know my body best, so off I go to the urgent care facility and guess what I had? Yep! A UTI. Yes, they kept my co-pay. I was very frustrated. UTI's are a frequent side effect of diabetes. They need to listen to their patient. I will not use them again due to having diabetes as this seemed to be what the doctor was focused on.
