Was told I had to be sick for 2 weeks and run a fever of greater than 102 for 2 days before anything could be given to me for sinus infection. It has now settled into my lungs and will be going to dr for sinus infection and bronchial infection. Was told that they would not prescribe antibiotics because they did not want me to build up an immunity. Don’t really know how that will happen when I only take them about once ever 2 years around this same time for the same symptoms. Doubt I will ever use this option again.

Dr was rude, told me to take a second over the counter nasal spray (after she already saw that I was taking one,) refused to provide antibiotics or cough syrup, said it was a viral upper respiratory infection, and suggested following up with my primary in a few days. I wasn't comfortable with the consultation or diagnosis so I went to my primary a few hours later, who said It was bronchitis and immediately sent me to the hospital for breathing treatments, antibiotics, cough syrup, IV treatment and a nebulizer. Be very careful with this service! This was the first time I've used it and I doubt I will again after that experience. Uodate: 1/18/19 Although MD Live replied publicly to this review and said that someone would be in touch, I have received no contact whatsoever from them as of 11 days after their reply.

I called with symptoms of the flu or a cold. ! was prescribed prednisone... which from my research actually weakens the immune system and causes a cough as a side effect.

Was forced to go off antidepressants suddenly because they refused to give me my next rx. Had been seeing the psychiatrist for several months and was only later told that they could only write three of the same rx in an entire year. Still suffering discontinuation syndrome because of this. I sent a message to mdlive concerning this via their website but have yet to hear back. This has had a negative impact on my health, my work performance, and my trust in the medical field. I will never use mdlive again, and I will urge others to see real doctors in a professional setting instead of going the cheap route where all they seem to care about is lining you up to stuff in as many patients in a short amount of time so they can profit. It's obvious they don't actually care about our health. Update for the response. That was a pretty sorry explanation. I should have been given an advanced warning, at least from the one treating me. She never once acted like it was a problem to be addressed about continuing the medication she was prescribing me. The robotic and emotionless response (seriously, I've met chat bots with more empathy) just shows how little they care about the well being of the people coming to them for help.

Waste of time and money. AVOID! I will never use them again!

Spoke with a physician about a sinus infection. She said all I needed was a steroid nose spray which she would send to my pharmacy. Called two hours later to my pharmacy and they never got the prescription. Called MDLive back and they said they'd fasttrack my prescription and call it in and let me know when they did. That was over an hour ago. My pharmacy closes in less than an hour so I guess I get no meds tonight. I will never use their services again.

Not a fan...First/Last time I will use MDLIVE. Since it was a Saturday, holidays looming, my MD was closed, and I was so crazy-sick, I decided to give it a try. Based on all my symptoms...I was pretty certain I had the flu. However...after waiting over an hour for a call back that was supposed to take “less than 15 minutes” I was told I had an “infectious disease” several times over like I was a 3 year old...and there was nothing I could be given except for some cough syrup. When I mentioned I was a teacher and many of my students had the flu, so wouldn’t it be likely I had the flu too...I was told he could not determine that’s what it was. When I stated I was hoping I could be diagnosed quickly so I could have access to Tamiflu...I was told it is only prescribed to elderly, young, and “at-risk” patients, which I was neither. Monday morning...still convinced I have the flu...get in to see my regular MD...and guess what? I have the flu and a sinus infection and was prescribed Tamiflu and an antibiotic to take when the Tamiflu is gone. I am thankful that I knew my symptoms/body well enough to know the guy on the phone was wrong..and persued it. I will never use MDLIVE again. There is nothing that even remotely compares to seeing your own physician...and I should have known better.

My first consultation a few weeks ago resulted in 2 prescriptions that did not help me and I never got over the illness. I called again today and was told they had just received another "memo" about the illness I have but it's viral so there's nothing they can give me. I specifically asked a 2nd time if there was anything I could get to relieve my symptoms and was told there was no indication I needed any Rx. So I suppose I'm off to urgent care today. AND they said I would be charged for my consultation today that did NOTHING for me, NOTHING at all. Very disappointed. I'll be letting my insurance company know this is pretty close to being a scam.
