The doctor argued with me about the medication I requested for an ear infection. She finally agreed to prescribe the requested med but she lied. She prescribed another antibiotic verses what she told me she was going to prescribe. I know what works for me and I I don’t want to experiment.

My experience with MD Live was absolutely terrible. It took four failed calls and two phone calls to customer service to actually speak to a doctor. Every time I answered my phone, their system would hang up on me. Five calls later, I finally spoke to a doctor, only to be disappointed. I told the doctor my symptoms, including high fever for two days, along with other symptoms for four days. I was diagnosed with a sinus infection, an illness that MD Live advertises that they treat. The doctor told me he would not prescribe an antibiotic for my infection because I had not been running high fever (102+) for 10 or more days (MD Live policy). He told me to keep taking Mucinex and Sudafed and call back in six days if my fever was still present. 10 OR MORE DAYS OF HIGH FEVER?!? Ten days of high fever just does not seem safe to me, nor have I ever heard a doctor recommend to go 10 days with high fever without any lab work. This baffles me. I would have been happier to hear him say that he does not think I need antibiotic, and if my fever persists, go to my doctor. The reason I chose to use MD Live was because it was supposed to be convenient. I spent 1.5 hours of my time just trying to answer their phone calls and talk to customer service. I spent three minutes of my time on the phone with a careless doctor that offered horrible advice. I basically threw my $25 in the trash by using MD Live. On a side note, I went to Urgent Care the day after my appointment with MD Live. I was diagnosed with a sinus infection (again) and was prescribed antibiotic. I've been on antibiotic for two days now and am feeling much better. Thanks for nothing, MD Live. You are a scam!

twice I get the text saying consultation has been accepted and twice the phone rings from consultant just after I open the text; I press accept key and then no one is there. the third time I changed contact number to work phone at my desk and never got a confirmation text or the consultants phone call

Doctor said I had a cold and just to use affrin. I am now on antibiotics for sinus infection.

I was on the phone with the doctor maybe 4 minutes. It felt rushed. He gave me dietary advice that was aimed at prevention but not helpful to my immediate condition. He asked if I’d previously used a specific medication and, unsure, I asked if it was a prescription drug. He said yes, and sent an Rx to the pharmacy. When my husband went to pick it up, the pharmacist advised him that the same drug was also available OTC - and would be considerably cheaper that way. Upon hearing about my condition, the pharmacist told my husband there were actually stronger OTC medications that would be more helpful for my situation. My brief conversation with the doctor felt rushed, inattentive, and not fully accurate or helpful. I went to a clinic the next day and visited with a doctor and PA who gave me a different course of action.

The Dr that consulted with me on MD live was very rude and short. She did not listen to my concerns or help me at all. I had a fairly simple concern (sinus infection) and she refused to help me telling me to follow up with my PCP or urgent care which is what MD live’s purpose is supposed to avoid. I was really disappointed. I was able to log on to my local hospital’s tele MD’s site and get the treatment I needed with out judgement or rudeness. This is a benefit from my insurance company and sadly I’ll never use it again due to the way I was treated by the rude provider.

This company has the WORST customer service I've probably ever dealt with. They continually cannot get my account straightened out so it charges me the correct amount. I spent a half hour on the phone with someone two days ago and then tonight I find out my doctor cancelled the appointment because he doesn't see patients on the day I was supposedly booked. They even had that wrong. The lady entered the 28th instead of the 29th. So of course I'm charged. Then they have to charge me again to reschedule but it will take days to credit my card for the cancelled appointment. Every year in January they want to charge me $259 as if I'm a new patient. It's a follow up!! Should only be $99. So I can't book through the website! Uuuggghhh!!! If I didn't like my doctor so much I would have ditched them long ago. And a company that doesn't allow reviews on their Facebook page? That should say enough right there! This is unnecessary and unneeded stress to me!!! Get your act together MD Live! 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️ P.S. Then they JUST called me back to tell me the time they FINALLY booked me for on the 29th is no longer available. Wouldn't you think they had a system tied into their website in real time to know if a time is available or not?!?!? UUUGHGHHH!!!!

I hope others get the help they need. I really was not helped by it.
