This was my first time using MD Live. I was just trying to get a referral for an X-ray for severe back pain. I chose MD Live because it hurt to move, let alone drive. I logged in, set up my appointment and then got the call from the MD Dr. I told him my pain and he said he can’t do referrals and said is that all you needed? He wasn’t rude, but it was literally a 15 second conversation where I got ZERO help and was still charged $44 (my plan has $0 office copay so I’m not even sure why I got that charge).

To me this seemed like a waste of money. I called to get antibiotic ear drops for an ear infection. I was trying to save time and also get started on the antibiotics and not waste time. The doctor told me to go see a doctor, so basically wasting $40 to be told something I would've just done without this service. I went to the doctor and was told I had an ear infection and I was given the antibiotic I was requesting in the first place. I won't be using this service again.

My symptoms were real to me but not the physician who took my call

I called last night , got up with a scratchy throat and it got worse as the day progressed went on the site waited for the call only for the doctor to tell me he was sending me an email with medicine to get over the counter needless to said I recd no email and ended up going to the walk in clinic at lunch today, they prescribed me antibiotics and more meds wasted my time n money never using this again.

Will NEVER use MDLIVE again!! I called with complaints of epigastric abdominal pain, nausea, fever & chills. The "dr" told me to go to ER because it could be cardiac related. And I was still billed over $40 for the "consultation". NONSENSE!!!!

I am only supposed to pay $10 a visit but had to call 3 times because they mis diagnosed me or prescribed me wrong. $30 down the drain for something that could have been fixed easily and was determined within seconds at urgent care without myself even being seen!

When I told the doctor my symptoms he told me to try over-the-counter medication. I advised him that would not work and he advised that’s all he could tell me. So $10 wasted. I HAD to go to a real doctor spent $20 and it turns out I had the flu and I needed the Tamiflu and prescription steroids. So nothing over the counter. Every time I have called that’s all y’all tell me is over the counter. Sometimes people do you need anabiotic‘s and y’all need to get that into your system and into the doctor’s heads. I will not be using this service ever again it is a waste of money & time. Especially when you’re sick!!!

Have been trying to get my MDLive account setup so through my wife's employer for 4 months now and keep getting jerked around. I now have 3 accounts and I still do not have one set up correctly.
