Dismissive and inconsistent. Not much more to say. Worth the attempt—for the off chance they’ll do something for you; however, chances are you’ll end up at your doctor. Even “easy” American healthcare is frustrating.

medicine prescribed was not appropriate for me

The doctor didn't seem to actually 'hear' what I was saying. I felt like he just brushed me off as having a cold. After 3 days of not getting any better, I contacted my primary care doctor. I had a sinus infection which had to be treated with an antibiotic. That's what I told the MDlive doctor. He didn't listen.

Dr returned my call, did while visit as normal and then she never called in my prescriptions. Waste of my time.

I was very happy to try this service. As no one ever wants to be sick I am in between jobs and cannot afford a Dr visit right now. $75 is way more appealing. I started my process at 3:30 pm and was told the wait is about 15 minutes, LIES!! The wait was much longer. About every 30 minutes I would receive a phone call stating the hold time is longer than expected. after an hour and a half they cancelled my apt automatically so I called to complain and get an explanation and to maybe get my appointment back as I didn't cancel or receive any notification it was cancelled via email, text or call. Customer service is a joke and its not the people that's the problem its the script they are forced to say. They can NOT tell you how many people are ahead of you, how long it will be or if there are any physicians in the system. The only thing they say is that you are in the Que. What a joke. I have to pay in advance which is annoying if you are uncertain if or when you can speak to someone. At around 9 pm I got fed up of my "15" minute wait and I called back. This time I am more of a cranky sick person and customer service will only apologize, my issue is I need the medicine and I have work at 3 am the next day. Once I gave up and scheduled an 10 pm appointment it worked. I was assigned a doctor and I was pleased. When 10 pm happened they called and I answered and no one was there and the call ended on their end. I waited all evening I was not about to end that call. The doctor called back and everything worked out okay. The doctor was very knowledgeable and helpful. We got a prescription sent to the pharmacy and concluded the call in less than 15 minutes. If MDLIVE were to improve the phone service I would change my rating to 5 stars, but because of the horrible service and lack of hold time estimates and lack of help from customer service end I will keep my review. Until this issue is resolved I would rather fork up more money at urgent care to avoid this issue and get seen before a 7 hour span.

My issue was not diagnosed correctly because I feel the medical professional wasn't listening to me. As a result, I never picked up the Rx she ordered because it wouldn't help me or relieve my symptoms.

So expensive. Couldn't even imagine paying what they want. I can see a doctor for less by just paying out of pocket
