The dr refused to prescribe me antibiotics even though I had been sick for an extended period of time and felt/sounded awful. Ended up at urgent care 3 days later with antibiotics and some. Very disappointed in the experience. I’ve used online Dr’s before that were great.

I get bad sinus infections and always need an antibiotic and/or steroid. This doctor on call would not give me anything and told me to try alka seltzer sinus. I suffered for 3 additional weeks and nothing he recommended helped. I was miserable! So I Went to my regular doctor who prescribed a steroid and z pac. I felt better in 24 hours! I wish MDLIVE had access to my medical history and could see what my common problems are and how to best treat them.

After struggling with depression for over a year now, I finally decided to do an online counseling session. When the therapist asked what I had been experiencing, I told her that I had felt very little joy or excitement over the past year. I couldn’t get excited about any hobbies, and I felt like I was just going through the motions of life. Her response? “Don’t you think that’s just called adulting? I mean if you want me to help you find a new hobby I can’t do that.” She was also 7 minutes late to her very first scheduled appointment of the day without so much as an apology.

Apparently the appointment was at a different time zone than my state so she called me an hour before my listed appointment. Also when I didn’t receive a call or anything and contacted customer service they said that I was supposed to download a certain app and that it doesn’t work with safari?? I was literally not given any of this information before hand in a email or anything. They emailed me 15 mins my appointment making it seem like everything was good to go. I did the website check to make sure the webcam worked and thought that was all I was supposed to do. This is a horrible company with awful customer service I will never use them or a phone consultation doctor ever again. What a disappointment.

Very very disappointed. Was told after waiting for more than an hour that the doctor is not available. The earliest available doctor is at 3 AM which is after 5 hours This is totally not a 24/7 service which they boast of. Not happy at all , not happy.

Be very careful using this service. The first time went smoothly. The second time I used them The Doctor prescribed an antibiotic that I must be allergic to so I sent a message directly to the doctor using their link the very next day. No response. I gave it 5 days for them to get back to me before I called since no one returned the message and was told I would have to pay another $75 to talk to another doctor. I asked to speak to a supervisor to explain my case that I just needed a different antibiotic and was still told the only thing I could do was reschedule another appointment and pay another $75. So I’m still here with a sinus infection and medicine that I can’t take because it makes me sick. Terrible customer service. If this happened in a doctors office I would have just called and it would have been taken care of with no problem. I’m certain if they would have allowed me to speak to the doctor she would have said the same thing. I’m sure there are legit services out there but this is not one of them.

Didn't really help much at all with my back pain. Had to go to a doc in a box. I guess the only thing they would be useful for is if you have a cold? Won't be using them in the future/

My most recent experience with MDLIVE was not a good one. I uploaded pictures of my issue and was given eye drops to resolve it. After a week, I contacted my doctor through MDLIVE to let her know that the issue had not been resolved, and she simply told me to go to the emergency room! It turns out that all I needed was an oral antibiotic which my regular doctor said should have been obvious by the photos, description of symptoms, and the fact that the eye drops didn't work. i ended up paying for the consultation for MDLIVE, the eye drops that were useless (and expensive), and another doctor visit that could have been avoided.
