I paid full price for an online consultation, only to find out that a diagnosis would not have been possible without the expertise of a specialist. I have requested a refund, but have not received an answer. I think this is a scam!

On a return visit a male doctor (I guess he was a doctor. He didn’t identify himself.) walked in and said, without even looking at my throat and swollen gland, that the only way anyone could figure out what was wrong would be to a very expensive high contrast imaging series at a lab. I went to another doctor the next day and she looked at my records and my throat, diagnosed a probable fungal infection as a result of a heavy antibiotic treatment. A $3 prescription and five days later and it’s completely healed. Worse experience I’ve ever had at an urgent care center.

I've never been given the run around like I got with MDLive. After speaking with 2 different doctors I was told I had a virus and to take over the counter meds. Well having this issue all of my life I knew good and well it wasn't a virus. I had had symptoms for about 5-7 days when I called. Well long story short after being borderline pneumonia, I went to the local clinic and got some antibiotics. According to the doctor (s) they had been over prescibing antibiotics and the CDC didn't want them giving them out. I had good experiences before now. I'll not waste another dime on MDlive. I wasted $15 dollars to have and educated automaton to tell me to take over the counter cold meds.

The doctors suck!!! I feel like I should be paid for using this crap. I know I’ve used the service twice and both times ended up at the doctors office I should be refunded $80 for two worthless service calls

Called and was told to take Advil. I was extremely sick, sinus congestion, sore throat, ears hurting and low grade fever. Called back a few days later and was told to take Advil again. I was even more sick than when I initially called. After much debating, a mild antibiotic was called in for me. (Which did not help at all) I had to end up going to American Family Care where I was treated for bronchitis, a sinus infection, and a double ear infection. I should have went there first and not wasted my time with MD Live.

Terrible. Absolutely terrible. I won't ever wast my time with this service again. I called in over a month ago on a Friday evening due to bronchitis. I get sick every year when the cold starts in the leaves start falling. I know me, and I know my symptoms. I figured I'd try this new MDLive service so that hopefully I could get a jump on the infection. I called in and got a lady that could hardly speak English. She listened to my symptoms and then told me to go to the ER because I probably had a lung embolism. I said, Ma'am, I get this every year. I know what works. I need a dose of 750mg Levaquin and a steroid dose pack to open the lungs up. She sat quietly for an uncomfortable moment and then said "No.. You go now. You have lung embolism" I just hung up and went to take some OTC meds and pushed through until Monday. I went to see my PCP and in 10 minutes I walked into with the Levaquin and a steroid shot. Imagine that. Had I listened to the doctor at MDLive I would have rushed to the ER, taken a bed from someone who could have actually used it. Had a multitude of high dollar tests ran and when everything came back negative I would have walked out with some antibiotics and a massive hospital bill. I guess I should have gone and sent the bill to MDLive. I guess all I can say is if you use this service RECORD YOUR PHONE CALL! That way if you listen to whatever craziness they say you will have evidence of it. I won't ever use MDLive again.

What a waste of money! I was really sick and they recommend over the counter stuff. Per Md live policies. So after 10 -12 days if you are still sick they can treat you. When what I really needed was an antibiotic. Save your $49. Because you will have to pay twice when you go to a doctor.
