Disingenuous as Heck
My case was eventually settled, but I was ultimately very disappointed in by the manner in which I was treated - by my own lawyers! They got a pretty penny in my case, but I was treated very poorly (rudely, even!) during the daylong settlement negotiations. They were in shark mode but forgot to turn it off when dealing with me, their client! I was near physical collapse by the end of the day (due to health issues) but never once did they bother to ask if I was ok. They may be good at law, but show a little respect, for crying out loud.

Vicky, you and I both know that a 2 star review is not merited. You rate us with 2 stars because you were upset that we did not ask how you were doing at the mediation. I want to apologize if you thought Scott or I were not attentive to your needs at the mediation. I am sorry for not asking how you were doing. We certainly would never want you to feel we neglected your pain or were not attentive to your needs during a full-day mediation. I went back and looked and were able to get you many hundreds of thousands of dollars of benefits under your disability policy that were worth at most about $240,000. Thus, we recovered far in excess of the benefits you were due under the policy. That’s very good settlement for you and I hope you know that we worked extremely hard for you and spent many hours on your case doing our best for you. I appreciate that you state in your review that we are good at what we do. I believe we are very good at what we do. I think our service to you was excellent at all times and I have not found any emails to us from you that state otherwise. I am very happy and proud of the work we did for you. I hope you are doing well.
