Maxxis TiresReviews of maxxis.com

Maxxis Detonators 700 x 32 came with my new road bike. Very sticky feel to them which wore off after about 100 miles. Three punctures in two months. Tiny bits of flint seem to stick to them and then bed in causing tiny hole. I can't be doing with punctures so I have replaced them.

Paid around £50 for a DHR2 tire and on the first decent downhill run the side wall of the tire punctured with hole that was too big to be mended/bunged. I wasn't riding that hard and have never had tire fail like this on me before, let alone on the first run. I returned to Maxxis and they weren't interested. Poor service when they are marketed as one of the best tires on the market and they fail so badly so easily. I'll just pay less for a tire that is cheaper to replace rather than shelling out for what I thought was quality and up for a decent level of riding.

Compre unos neumáticos maxxis premitra all season y me han durado 12000 km.

maxxis detonator 700x32c. These tyres came on my hybrid bike I’ve had for six months now, I’ve been out on it about six times, not much as I have two bikes this bike I like to use on long runs, but twice now I’ve got punchers maybe I’m unlucky but I use my other bike lots more and only get occasional punchers. The tyres are quite and run well on flat tarmac in the dry but wet you need to be easy on the brakes and not go to hot into corners !
